Dr. Judith Lewis IS one of THE finest Osteopaths and physicians you will every find. I am not sure what these other one star ratings are about, but they clearly do not understand what Osteopathic Medicine is, by their remarks.
I have send my patients to Dr. Lewis over the course of 20 years, and I too have been treated by her, and she is compassionate, kind and one of the most skilled and knowledgeable Osteopaths working today. I highly recommend her.

I would not recommend Stillpoint Ostopathic clinic (now based in NE Seattle) with Dr. Judith Lewis.
The extended intake process was invasive and our first session had no treatment whatsoever, despite going for 1.5 hours. She seemed genuinely concerned about condition, but her recommendations and «treatment» (usually just pushing one or two points on my leg or back while telling me I should be feeling something) were unhelpful. I was uncomfortable with the treatment at times, and did not feel it was appropriate.
I switched to a physical therapy office and began seeing results much faster, and now I’m largely pain free. So glad I switched. Can’t imagine the pain I would be in if I stayed with this office.

Dr. Lewis has performed miracles with me. I have had problems with my legs, feet and chest for a long time. It was hard for me to change the way I walk. Dr. Lewis literally taught me how to move all over again. Since I have been using her way of moving my problems have gone away.

Judith Lewis is wonderful! She is a doctor of Osteopathic Medicine a DO. She is excessively rare in that she has chosen to specialize in Osteopathic Medical Manipulation OMM. Less than 1% of all doctors have this skill or have the ability to do what she does or the qualifications or experience. She can diagnose and treat without X-​rays, mostly without meds., or surgery, and she does her own physical therapy if she thinks you need it. If she tells me my sore neck can be cured by changing my walk instead of surgery I am over the moon. If you would rather have pills and surgery get an MD. Not everyone will want to do the work, but if you do you will not need either, pills or surgery, as I age I find I was collecting a lot of ongoing aches, that she has eliminated. thank you Judith! You get an hour with her! Use it, my daughter does this also but usually only gives her patients 20 minutes.

I wasn’t impressed with Dr. Lewis’ avant-​garde method of «working muscles long» and «ballerina posture» lectures; especially after a few visits of hearing conflicting information, but I hung in there. Six weeks, five visits, $ 1,100 of billable hours and I’m in just as much pain as I was before I set foot in her office. I was given ridiculous «muscle building» exercises, but only after a few weeks of insisting that there must be something I can do in between visits to accelerate my progress. Reluctantly, she showed me two exercises (I’m certain this was just to appease me), which I did… I mean there was literally nothing to either exercise, so why not?! I understand isometric exercises (I’ve been a personal trainer) and these were nothing of the sort. Big fail. I was still hanging on to the dream that this woman, a pioneer in her field of medicine, was going to heal me… Until I got a breakdown of services charged to my insurance company. I don’t have any out-​of-​pocket expense, but I’m still enraged at the amount of money charged on my behalf when I received absolutely no benefit whatsoever. If I were charging insurance companies absurd fees with minimal effort I wouldn’t give my patients any «homework» either; keep that gravy train coming! Actually, that’s a big fat lie because I would want to help someone get back to enjoying life and living pain free. Unfortunately, I wasn’t bestowed the same courtesy. I’ve talked to patients of other D.O.s with problems similar to mine and they have a slew of stretches and exercises. My advice; do some research and find a better doctor.
