Since 1980, Level Line Gutters has specialized in installing high quality, continuous aluminum gutters to customers throughout the greater metropolitan Seattle area, with a focus on West Seattle, Washington.

Our services include new gutter and downspout installations, additions, repairs, and gutter screens; installation of rainwater collection and storage barrels; as well as custom ornamental gutters forged from copper, zinc-​aluminum, and galvanized metals.

We use nothing but the highest quality .027 gauge aluminum with teflon coated finishes inside and out, and the best hidden hangers that won’t bend in Seattle’s occasional ice and snow. All our materials and workmanship are guaranteed for 10 years.

Established in 1980.

Mark Sewell began installing gutters in his junior hear at West Seattle High School for Bill Otekirk, owner of one of two continuous gutter installation companies in Seattle at the time (Starburst Gutters).

Upon graduation, Mark took a year off to ride his bike and travel around the country before coming back home to West Seattle, getting married, and starting Level Line Gutters. Mark takes pride in knowing that he has installed every foot of gutter himself since the beginning, using nothing but the best materials and personal care in craftsmanship.

When you run into a company that is honest, fair and does a good job, you want to tell all your friends. But I don’t have any friends looking for new gutters right now, so I am writing a Unilocal Review.
I got an estimate so fair, I didn’t bother to get another one. I dealt with removing old gutters and chose to do my own eave repairs. Three guys showed up on time and efficiently installed the gutters. Great job!
This was a smooth easy transaction. Only have done it once in my life, but was completely painless.

It’s always a great idea to support your local businesses. Mark and his company deliver excellent product and service. Customer service and ease of scheduling were great too. I would definitely use them again… but I don’t think I’ll be needing new gutters for a long time. ;)

I initially called to have a few downspouts replaced and one leaky gutter repaired. My house is really old so it wasn’t a big surprise to hear that it was in need of all new gutters & downspouts. Mark and crew showed up on time, were really friendly (even with my monster dog), and got the job done quickly. They even went out of their way to patch up a few things along the way (did I mention my house is really old?). I couldn’t be happier, they did a great job!

Level Line’s bid for replacing the gutters on our house was a little more than half the other bid. They responded quickly to our request for an estimate and scheduled our gutter replacement about two weeks from our initial request. He made some suggestions about small improvements (extending gutters slightly farther in certain places, etc.) The whole job took less than 3 hours and Mark and his crew did a great job cleaning up — no extra pieces or equipment left behind. A great experience overall!

We just had Mark out to replace the old and rotted gutters on our house. He came highly recommend by another contractor we used, and I can see why. We had 3 estimates: one from the LeafGuard folks who you see at Costco, one from a larger roofing company in Seattle, and then one from Mark and his company. Mark came out and provided the estimate during the day when we were at work, worked with us to schedule the work, and then came out and got the job done quickly and efficiently. The only evidence of his work were the new gutters and downspouts. There wasn’t one scrap of trash, and nothing out of place. His price was less than 1⁄3 of the LeafGuard estimate, and nearly half of what the larger roofing company had quoted us. We highly recommend him.

I called this company based on the reviews I read on Unilocal.Well… I am very disappointed with this company. One of their responses to me was that my job required them going up and down a ladder too much. Well… that’s your job! Gutters require being off the ground to install. They also said my job was too big for them to consider which is surprising since I have a pretty small house and currently I have about 32 – 40′ of gutters which in the world of gutters, is nothing.
To sum it up, I would not recommend this company to any Unilocalers, family or friends.

I would give 6 stars if I could! The replacement of our gutters was something I had been dreading, but by choosing Level Line, this task became easy. Mark Sewell provided a timely and straight forward estimate with clear information about materials and choices. After selecting Level Line (mainly for being the low bid), the work performed was very high quality. The vintage gutter bender machine in their truck fabricated seamless gutters on site, and the gutters were perfectly straight. I could not be happier with the entire interaction for this work and the quality of the finished gutters. But wait, it gets better! During a very heavy rain, we noticed some water leaking behind the gutter in one area of the roof. I called Level Line to describe the problem, and Mark again visited to inspect & repair. He commented that the problem was attributed to the roof material not having the correct overhang. It would be very reasonable to pursue the roofing contractor for correction. However, Mark offered to make a correction to the roof by adding a piece of metal flashing. He really went above and beyond by fixing a problem he was not responsible for causing. You will not be disappointed with choosing Level Line!

How often do you buy gutters? Usually never. But, when you need someone who is an expert at what they do, and for the price of what it would cost you to do it yourself, you have to give props to this company. Impeccable service, follow up, and a no nonsense pricing model. I wish every contractor worked like Mark. This is Old School at its best, and no need to shop around. Thanks, Mark!

I got four estimates, and Mark’s was the most competitive. He was also really great to work with. When I told him I was trying to save money, he told me what I could do on my own to reduce the quote, and how to do it. He even told me where to go to recycle my old aluminum! The gutters for our standalone garage had completely disintegrated. Mark responded immediately to my email for a request for a quote. He came out the next day, gave an estimate, and a few days later, our gutters on the garage are brand-​new. He even checked our the gutters and downspouts on our house for us and reattached a couple that had come off. Mark was prompt, courteous, and efficient.

Mark came out to my place to check out the state of my gutters and found that some were in decent shape, but recommended that others be replaced. I made an appointment, and on the date of the appointment he was on time and ready to go.
In two hours he replaced the faulty gutters with new gutters made on-​site, replaced downspouts, installed fresh flashing where needed, and cleared out clogged areas. His prices were incredibly reasonable, and his team was ‘all business’.
I highly recommend Level Line if you’re looking to replace your gutters, or if you just need them updated a little bit.
BTW — I live in the Rainier Valley.
