History

Established in 1996.

Our founder, Wayne, started in the commercial maintenance & janitorial industry in 1986. In the mid-90’s he decided to learn a new craft: hardwood floors. Wayne took on the challenge, broke new ground, & set new standards in the Seattle area for service & quality. In addition, he pioneered the use of a little-​known (not anymore!), low-​VOC non-​toxic floor finish called Osmo. Wayne was diligent in perfecting the use of Osmo over years of trial, error, retrial & adjustments.

For many years Wayne ran the company with his wife, Roz, until their retirement in 2009, when LeBlanc Floors was handed over to Kevin Plumacher, who has been in the construction & flooring industry since 1994.

With an expert team of estimators, project managers, installation & refinishing pros, LeBlanc Floors has now established its presence as one of the most respected, quality-​minded, solution-​driven flooring companies in the Seattle area.

Business Owner

My name is Kevin, and I thank you for your interest.

I am a married father of 3, and Washington resident since 1987 (transplanted from NC as a kid).

I love Seattle. I believe we live in one of the coolest places in the world, from both a meteorological and a philosophical standpoint. My job is to do all I can to preserve the nostalgia, update the dull and drab, and to take care of my family and my employees. We stay up to date on current trends and practices, and constantly learn all we can about the history of our industry and our area, to ensure we bring the best to our clients.

At LeBlanc, quality of life is as important as any other aspect of our business. We don’t strive for huge profits, we strive for ongoing satisfaction with our jobs and excellence in our customers’ experiences with us.
