History

Established in 2009.

I’ve been designing as a professional for about 20 years. I started my design career in a local Department store in Portland Oregon. I soon climbed the corporate ladder to become the home store visual coordinator for a national department store chain. I designed and oversaw the visual displays for 74 stores This was my dream job, That I enjoyed for several years. However with the current market, and corporate consolidations, and mergers I found myself looking for new opportunities. I decided to apply my skills, and talents to the residential design field. I have had the great opportunity to do many different projects over the years. This lead to starting my own design company Timothy De Clue Design L.L.C. in 2009.

Meet the Business Owner

Tim D.

Business Owner

A native of Portland, Oregon, De Clue started his retail design career at Meier & Frank. Here he was able to combine his love of shopping and knowledge of design to create distinctive visual displays. De Clue’s eclectic, fresh approach to design took off, and a few years later, he rose to be Visual Coordinator Home store in California. From there De Clue welcomed the chance to move back to the Northwest; based in Seattle he honed his Project management skills with Macy’s Inc as Senior Project Manager in Store Planning. Recognized in the industry for creating award winning designs that integrate practicality and basic function, all while expanding the horizon of lifestyle design. Taking what De Clue learned from his retail experience, he turned his efforts toward residential design. This being his passion he has been able to design for high profile CEO’s and many clients from different lifestyles and backgrounds.
