History

Established in 1993.

Lastingnest was created with simple idea, to be the last remodel a home would need. To build beautiful kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and homes that reflect our clients needs and values. For almost 20 years now we have succeeded in doing just that, and at the same time becoming one of the local leaders in the Green Building movement. We like to say that building green isn’t expensive or different, just better.

Business Owner

I grew up in an old whaling village on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York and was sent to work with my Master Plasterer Grandfather when I was 14, from him I learned Green Building. He didn’t call it that, he simply built things that looked as good in 1975 as they did in 1945, and performed just as well. I work with the same principles of care about the beauty and durability of our projects. I am have a wonderful wife (Faye) who is an art teacher, and two awesome kids, with whom I get to ride my mountain bike, sail, snowboard in the winter, and play Ultimate.
