Kevin helped me with a speeding ticket. I didn’t think I deserved the ticket and Kevin helped me fight it. I never met him in person, but he was very personable over the phone and email and was on top of the case. He got my case dismissed which was great! Hopefully I won’t ever need to use him in the future, but if I do, I will definitely go with him.

I have been extremely impressed with Kevin. I never met him in person but he was a great communicator (phone and text) and his rate was less than others I researched. I loved the fact that he was so honest — provided me with pros and cons of fighting the ticket and didn’t sugar coat it. All along I knew he was on my side and also had a great amount of knowledge as to how courts in different areas handled things. In the end, I will pay the ticket price (court costs) and if I don’t have another speeding ticket in 12 months it gets dismissed. I hope I never need to use Kevin and his services again but recommend him highly. Thanks Kevin!

Even though i ended up not using Kevin’s service, i was impressed with his professionalism, attentiveness and patience through our email correspondences and phone conversation.

Kevin got rid of my speeding ticket promptly. The best part about this service is that I never had to show up in court, or even meet Kevin. I gave him a call, sent him a cheque and a few weeks later I got a letter from the court indicating that my ticket had been reduced to a cellphone violation.
I’d definitely recommend Kevin to anyone with a traffic violation. His prices are reasonable too.

Kevin Cole is excellent! (I have some familiarity with the legal profession having worked at a major international law firm for many years.) He was thorough, diligent and a strong advocate (not to mention his strong school credentials). He usually responded to emails within 24 hours (if not within several hours) and pushed to get the best result for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Kevin again and would unconditionally recommend him to my friends.

I hired Kevin Cole when I got a speeding ticket on Mercer Island. I was in the process of looking for work and if I got a ticket on my record, I would lose many job opportunities as all my potential employers require a clean record. Kevin was so easy to deal with. He kept track of the court date, represented me in court (I didn’t even have to show up), he got the ticket reduced to a non-​driving record offense but was’t able to get the fine reduced at all. He felt the prosecutor was being unfair as I had no tickets on my record at all. He was so disappointed he actually refunded part of his fee to me — even though he kept my driving record clean which is what I was really looking for.
Then, to make matters worse, about three months later I got another ticket for entering a school zone — again on Mercer Island — going 30 mph. I slowed down immediately when I realized I was in the school zone and even though not one other car or human being was anywhere to be found on or near the street — school was already in session — a police officer was watching me and I got a ticket. So, I called Kevin again and he again went to bat for me and this time got the ticket deferred. Now I just can’t get another ticket for another seven years or something. But he kept my record clean!
Kevin is a straight shooter. We didn’t talk a lot but he called when he had something to tell me and he always presented me with what he felt would be the outcome.
I’m not sure how he does it for as little as he charges because not only does he represent you in court, he stays in touch with the court, follows through on paperwork, holds your money in a trust account until his work is done, informs you when his work actually is done and calls you to go over the whole process and what, if anything, you need to do.
I am very pleased with his work for me.

If you’ve never hired a traffic lawyer before (like I had), let me tell you why I highly recommend it. I was written a speeding ticket. I didn’t think the cause was just, so I looked into my options. I could have tried to argue my own case at a hearing, but according to several friends both young and old, the success rate of arguing your own case and winning is very low. The judges in traffic court deal with a hundred idiots a day coming in with lame reasons why they shouldn’t have to pay a ticket. It is very difficult not to be treated like «another idiot». The advantages of hiring a traffic attorney in my humble opinion are 1) you have a better chance of getting your ticket dismissed outright (like I did with Kevin Cole) and keeping your record clean, 2) you don’t have to show up in court! and 3) Kevin Cole’s fee was only about $ 50 more than the speeding ticket itself. $ 50 for a clean record? Yes please.
–That second one was the best part, by the way. For almost 4 months Kevin kept track of my court paperwork and showed up on my behalf. I can’t say how wonderful it felt not having to worry about it. At all.
Disclaimer: I imagine my rave review is in part because Kevin got my ticket dismissed. If he hadn’t I think I still would have given him 5 stars. His communication with me was very straightforward and honest. He really felt like an advocate, helping me achieve the best possible outcome.
