Jun Hong’s Kung Fu Club

All three of my children attend classes and the changes I have seen in them is remarkable! Focus, self determination, confidence, patience, endurance, respect, and so much more! Jun Hong has gone above and beyond. If you want a great Kung Fu school with a great Shifu, this is the place :)

I’ve been training here for almost a year and love it! Regardless of your need for a workout, or wanting to learn self defense, Jun Hong is ready to give you a great class! You’d be hard-​pressed to find a better teacher in Seattle! This is a great club for students of all ages and skill levels! Great classes for kids, Tai-​chi/​Qigong, sparring, hand and weapon forms, to acrobatic Wushu are offered here. I’ve been attending classes at Jun Hong’s for about a month now. I was really nervous at first– I’m a chubby, un-​athletic, middle-​aged nerd who’s never done martial arts or any kind of organized sport before. But I’m having so much fun!
Jun Hong and his assistants are so kind and patient. They’ve made me feel very welcome, and helped me learn a lot already. They’re also really good at kung fu! Seeing some of the awesome advanced moves they have really keeps me motivated– I want to do that! Apparently the club also has a history of producing champions– the walls are lined with medals and photos of students who have won tournaments.
One of the classes I attend is mostly children, which is adorable, but I’m never the only adult, so it’s not awkward. The other class I go to is almost all adults.
The pricing is monthly– for a flat rate, you can attend all the classes you want to. It works out to be a really good deal for me if I do at least two classes a week, but if you have the time, I think there’s like ten classes a week that are available for adults to attend.
I really can’t recommend Jun Hong’s highly enough. It’s a super fun and supportive environment, and really is appropriate for all skill levels. Kung fu is also one hell of a workout!

I am very impressed with the quality of the Kung Fu classes here. They offer a variety of classes for different skill levels for children and adults. My daughter truly enjoys the classes. I feel good knowing she is doing something to stay active.
Sifu Chon is a great instructor and is amazing with the kids. It is pretty neat to see how much the children look up to him. He does an amazing job. I would highly recommend joining if you or your kids are interested.
