I Do Bridal

This is the first place that I looked for a wedding dress — Bridget helped me out and was super enthusiastic and awesome. She was efficient at helping me try on every gown I could possibly want to but also lots of fun and easy to talk with.
I ultimately decided to go with a very nontraditional dress that didn’t match up with what the store carries, but had a great experience and strongly recommend going here to anyone!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience when purchasing my wedding dress from I Do Bridal! This was the first place I went and against my gut, went to other places just to see what else is out there. No other place knew the dresses and designers better or made sure they were delivering the best customer service ever. The boutique is so beautiful and you are surrounded by gorgeous dresses while finding yours. A huge shout out to Mickey who was the best bridal consultant ever, ask for her! She was patient, understanding, great to bounce ideas off of but made sure it was all about what the bride wants all while entirely respecting my budget. Also, Robin went ABOVE AND BEYOND when I needed to make a color change to my order– contacting the vendor on her day off and responding to my messages even when they were closed. Last minute I had some girlfriends fly in for the weekend who wanted to attend my appointment which was over the guest limit they recommend but said it was absolutely no problem about having more people.
It feels so great to feel so amazing about the place you purchased your dress from and knowing they will bend over backwards for their customers.
Amazing quality dresses, beautiful atmosphere, locally owned, and THE BEST SERVICE of all bridal stores.

I visited at least 8 – 10 bridal shops before coming to I Do bridal and was unable to find anything that I loved within my price range. When I called I spoke to Bridget on the phone and described to her what I was looking for. When I arrived to the shop, she had pulled THE dress. It was perfect! Not only that, but she had no problem letting me try on about 10 others just to be sure. She knows what she’s talking about, she’s great at her job, and on top of that, she’s super personable and fun. She also pinned the dress both in the front and back absolutely perfectly so that I could see how it would look when it was fitted. I’m going to pick up my dress this weekend and I can’t wait! Would definitely recommend this shop and especially Bridget to anyone.

Checked in and they said it would only be an hour till we could try on dresses. Came back an hour and a half later and they said it would be thirty minutes but, «it’s hard to say» didn’t even have the courtesy to call us to let us know it would in fact be three hours later… As you may understand, we have appointments at other places and would have appreciated am accurate quite. Overall they were unreliable and very rude.

This place is SO MUCH FUN! Bridget was so helpful, and really listened to what I wanted in my dress. A large selection of gorgeous gowns, a cute atmosphere, and super friendly staff — what more could a bride want? Will be recommending to all my girlfriends!

Had an awesome experience buying my bridesmaid dresses here! Jennifer Tran was super knowledgeable and accommodating. I wish I’d have gone here before purchasing my own gown.

I have had the best experience here! Ive been twice for my wedding dress and had Lauren as my consultant both times. She is amazing! She listened to my vision of the perfect dress and picked the one for me! She also helped me make alterations to the neckline to make it custom to my vision. She is great and we will be back for my bridesmaid dresses as well!
I also got to take pictures of my «favorite» dresses. Which most places don’t let you do.

This place was great! It was bright, clean, airy, and much better than a chain store experience. This was my first time trying on gowns since I got engaged. Mickey was professional, funny, and gave great feedback on dresses. She knew her inventory well, and after I told her what I liked and didn’t like, she was able to pull great dresses for me (enough to help me figure out what I want more, but not so many it was overwhelming).
I thought trying on dresses would be stressful, but Mickey made it a fun experience for both my mom and I. I would definitely recommend I Do Bridal!

Just found my dress here and had an amazing experience! Bridget helped me from start to finish, and actually ended up picking out the dress that I fell in love with. I’m not one who’s very good at describing specific style elements, but I showed her a few pictures, tried on a few different styles, and then she was able to synthesize the elements I liked and didn’t like, consider what looked best on my body and point me in the direction of something I loved! She also pinned me into dresses expertly so that I could really see the fit. She was friendly and personable throughout and made me feel so comfortable with an experience I was initially very apprehensive about. The only weird part for me was that they seemed to have some funny policies like not saying dress sizes out loud. I realize that this might be what some women are looking for, but it’s not something that bothers me and actually made things more confusing, so it would have been nicer if they were able to read their customer and adjust the delivery.
Would recommended Bridget and I Do to anyone!
P. S. to people commenting about no photo policies… there was no such thing when we were there. We took lots of pictures.

It’s been 3 months since my appointment and I’m still upset.
I live in Seattle, but I live thousands of miles away from any family or close friends. When I got engaged I knew right away I wanted to plan a ‘wedding dress shopping’ trip. I helped my bridesmaids, mom, and MOH to fly out to Seattle for a 4 day trip to find THE dress.
We had 6 appointments in 3 days (2 per day). This was our fourth appointment (day two, in the evening). We had a blast at the first three appointments at different shops (I knew which designers I liked and found shops that carried those designers/​dresses I pinned).
Because the travel needed. I booked this appointment SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE. I opted to pay $ 50 for the ‘suite’ because the lady on the phone said it was an elevated experience. We would get our own private space and they would have beverages for us and it would make the experience so much better.
When we arrived the consultant led us to the MIDDLE of the room, this random couch in the center of the shop and said that was the $ 50 suite (WTF.)
I asked for some waters and the consultant got annoyed and said «We NORMALLY don’t provide any drinks. but I’ll see what I can do.»
We picked out ~6 dresses and I entered the curtain to try the dresses on. The consultant started RIPPING ME IN AND OUT OF DRESSES. It made me feel rushed. like I was a walk in appointment they attempted to squeeze in between appointments. Not like someone who MADE AN APPOINTMENT SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE.
After 4 dresses I was so angry, dizzy, and upset that I told her to write down three and we would decide later. When I was leaving I told her and the manager that I was very upset that I paid $ 50 for that. They looked at me blankly and said in a annoyed tone «I’m sorry.» and that was it.
So a few days later I got an email asking how my experience was (auto-​generated), and I filled out the survey AND typed an email to the general box.
No response.
I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I will tell people to NOT come here.
I had the most amazing experience at another shop and I spent my money there.
Proceed with caution.

If I could give this place ¹⁰⁄₅ I would! My best friend recently got engaged and is on a time crunch to find a dress. She had looked up two places to go look and this was one of them! Not only is the location perfect and easy to get to, but the place is downright adorable. I have never been more in love with a place and I have been to my fair share of bridal dress shops. The experience was so wonderful, the lady who helped my friend get into the dresses was so nice and was actually very interested in all of our lives and wanted to make us feel like we are part of the whole thing too. The dresses she picked out were exactly what we all wanted to see her in. The setup of the whole store is very nice and welcoming. My friend ended up picking one dress that she really loved. We had another appointment at another bridal shop so we got all the information about the dress and went to the next place. The next place we went to felt less welcoming and no one was really into finding dresses or seeing her put dresses on because we all love I Do Bridal so much more. After the appointment was over we went back to I Do Bridal and bought the dress she loved! On top of all of this we were able to find a ton of dresses that were under $ 1,000!!! I will for sure be coming here when I get engaged!

I had a great experience trying on wedding dresses here. My consultant, Bridget, was amazing. She was knowledgeable, funny, and provided great feedback (didn’t «love» every dress that I tried on). I didn’t feel any pressure to buy a dress that same day, even though I tried on well over seven dresses in a span of an hour. I would highly recommend future brides to visit this store.

I Do Bridal was the first dress shop I visited while shopping for my wedding dress. I made an appointment for a Saturday morning and brought my mom and sister. I came prepared with a few pictures of styles I liked and explained to Bridget the general idea of what I was looking for. Bridget listened to what I wanted, and when my mom added in her opinions, Bridget took those into account too. Bridget was cheerful, funny, and entertained me and my family the whole time we were there. Even though I didn’t end up buying my dress from there, Bridget made me feel confident in everything I tried on and I felt like a princess for an hour.
One issue I had with I Do was their «no pictures» policy. I understand their reasoning behind the policy, but I still disagree with it. I tried on probably 12 wedding dresses during my hour-​long appointment and can’t tell you a single thing about any one of them. Trying so many wedding dresses in such a short time means they all blur together and it helps to have pictures to go back to remind yourself of what you did and didn’t like about each dress.

Bridget was really great and worked really well with the appointment time constraint. My dress was the third one I put on and I chose the first belt that Bridget put on me. I chose my dress at the old shop by the U-​District, and their new shop in Greenwood is beautiful.
I was measured as a 6 (and a size 4 in street clothing) so a size 8 was ordered for alterations to take in. 4 months later I went to pick up my dress and it was beautiful, but the ribs were so tight. I kept telling the stylist that it was too tight and I was uncomfortable, but she said it was probably because I had a big lunch. So we took the dress home and I tried it on the next day without any food in my stomach, and I still couldn’t breathe. I was actually very upset, so we called the store but they kept saying that my measurements must have changed. Either all my weight went to my ribs or something wasn’t quite right in the ordering process. Fortunately one of the alterations from their recommended list has been working on it.
I Do Bridal is a wonderful place to shop for a dress and they do make it fun. My piece of advice is to really make sure the dress is what you need it to be when you go pick it up, otherwise there’s not much that can be done unless you find a great seamstress.

Extremely happy with the Manager Jennifer. My first dress fitting went terrible and Jennifer brought me in for a refitting where we sized the dress and she found it was cut incorrectly. She called Maggie Sottero who overnighted a new dress. Instantly the dress fit perfect!
Jennifer went above and beyond for me and I felt truly blessed to have her on my side. After such a terrible few weeks with the first dress, I am relieved and so completely happy with the result.

The staff at I Do Bridal are the best! Stylist, Bridget, is amazing and helped me find the most amazing wedding dress and fabulous bridesmaids dresses (and a prom dress for my sister)! She knows exactly what dresses to show each person for their body type and is great to work with. The shop is beautifully set up and I love the lay out.

I deeply regret not getting my wedding dress from I Do Bridal. The consultant I worked with was extremely sweet, and all of the consultants there were willing to throw in ideas or advice. I was very nervous to try on dresses as a plus-​sized bride, but the consultant found several flattering dresses and was able to give me a very good idea of how they’d fit and what would look good.
I was disappointed about their no picture policy– because the people I wanted input from weren’t able to travel to go dress shopping with me. I understand the logic behind it– but it ended up keeping me from buying my dress there because I was able to reference other dresses that I had tried on and get opinions from far away friends.
I did come back to get my veil, and am so happy with it. The girls working were so sweet and helpful. They let me purchase one off the rack (a huge life saver) because I didn’t have enough to time to order one.
Bonus, their new location has a much better layout and nicer lighting.

I left this salon about an hour ago and immediately had to write a review on it for two reasons:
1) I found an amazing dress, but since it can’t be delivered before my wedding in September (even with expedited shipping), I had to purchase off the rack. The price was $ 1672 before tax, and they would not give me a discount for purchasing off the rack. That is crazy! Any salon I’ve been to or heard of has offered a discount for purchasing off the rack. Actually, the sales consultant asked the manager and she agreed to give $ 25 off. That’s just insulting. They gave some excuse like it was pretty new, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah…
I bought the dress because I am in a predicament where I HAVE to purchase a dress now. So I bought the «display.» I HATE buying displays (I’m a size 6 shoe, so that happens to me a lot, and I always pass if only the display is left). In this case, buying off the rack seems to be my only option. The dress is gorgeous. But it’s still «used» and purchased with a brand new price tag. That’s bs if you ask me!
2) I paid for the dress ($ 1805 total) and when I got home, I finally spoke to my father, who is in Texas, and he wanted to pay for it. I called to ask if I could exchange out the card so my dad could pay (there’s no way my card has even cleared in 60 minutes!). I even offered to let them double charge me ($ 3600) until both cards cleared before they refunded my card. The sales lady put me on hold (I assume to ask the manager). She came back and said, «No, we don’t offer refunds.» I’m not asking to return the dress, nor am I asking to exchange the dress for another one; all I am asking is to allow my father to pay and once his card has cleared, get my money back. I LEFT AN HOUR AGO!!! How is this a big deal? They aren’t losing anything!!! (Aside– I wasn’t able to reach my father when I was in the store. The appt times aren’t long; I used up my hour or whatnot, I was already feeling pressure about buying an expensive «used» dress, so I felt rushed to make a decision. I guess in hindsight, I should have stayed until my father picked up. Lesson learned).
What a disappointment! I will never recommend this salon to anyone. If doing something as simple as that inconveniences them, then I could never recommend this place to anyone. Clearly the owner/​manager does not care about her customers. I’d find another salon that carries the designers you like. I wish I never gave them one cent, and I promise they will not get one more from me!
To date, they have 7 reviews on Unilocal,and 2 of those gave them 1 star. Awesome track record. Keep up the great work guys! You’re killing it.
***Please Note**** I am new to Seattle, so my knowledge of great bridal boutiques is slim, but I Do Bridal is not one. Skip this place! Also, I went to I Do Bridal Too yesterday and the sales associates were very helpful and the dresses were very inexpensive (same management, I assume, though). I put down a $ 100 nonrefundable deposit «just-​in-​case.» Wish I wouldn’t have done that. But I have spent more than enough at these salons in the last two days for the manager to not be a little more accommodating. Come on now. Geez.
Also, Bridget helped me, and my bad experience is not because of her. She was very personable, friendly, and helpful. That was the only good thing about my experience. Otherwise, their customer service (the owner/​manager, more specifically) is trash.
***Update*** A few days after posting this, the owner emailed me apologizing and asking if there’s any way she could make it up to me. I spent the time to send a very thorough reply, and it’s been almost 3 weeks later, and she never responded back – further reiterating the lack of care for her customers.

I’ve been to this place both at their old location and at this new location. WOW. Let me tell you — this new location is AMAZING. They are so great here, they really get to know you and know your style, and really spend a lot of time helping you pick out the dress that is going to be «the one.»
I went back numerous times to this new location to get the bridesmaid-​dress situation sorted out, and they were SO helpful with assisting my bridesmaids picking something out. Each time, they were incredibly friendly, and were willing to work with each bridesmaid to pick out a dress that worked for their bodies (we were buying each person a different dress but from the same line). I was so pleased with how they helped and how this whole process went.
And BONUS! You can take pictures at this new location! That is SO incredibly helpful for your wedding dress buying day, so that you can remember what these pieces look like when on. :)

So let me start off by saying I bought my wedding dress at their original location in Wallingford. The place was cute but I definitely think their decision on expanding was a great idea.
A few months back I had decided it was time to hunt for my wedding dress. My mom and I made an apt at I Do bridal. Upon arriving I was setup with Bridget… my mom and I just fell in love with her energy… The girl knew what she was doin! I had my idea of what I wanted. It was going to be lace and it was going to have capped sleeves. Tooooooo bad that style is extremely unflattering on my body type. After trying on about 4 dresses Bridget could tell I was just not feeling the lace anymore. She brought over another dress and I tried it on and it was AMAZING. Totally flattering to my body and looked amazing and it was pretty cheap! I loved it. When changing out of it I noticed there was another dress she pulled. Looking at it on the hanger… it was not my style. Very blingy/​shiny… Anyways, I decide to give it a go. MIND BLOWN! This dress was even better than the one I loved. Bridget helped fit it to my body and it made me feel amazing. She also picked out a veil to help complete the look.
I truly hope every girl that gets married has someone (like Bridget) wonderful help them find their dress. It’s such a stressful time and someone that is good at seeing what looks good on a person is a huge help.
