History

Established in 1964.

Although a bit old and quirky, we’re taking a fresh outlook on things. We were founded in 1964, just after the Seattle World’s Fair, where Elvis gave one of our founder’s a bite of his hot dog! As a small, local company, we take pride in offering a smattering of old-​school style apartments as well as a few newer ones. A few common themes, however, run deep at Hive, such as providing friendly, top-​notch customer service, clean apartments, and walkable amenities.

We specialize in smaller buildings. Our apartments range in size from about 10 to 30 units, helping create a sense of community often not found at much larger properties. Additionally, these smaller buildings offer more spacious floor plans for the price point, and most of our units come with your own, private deck or patio, perfect for starting that container garden. Plus, we offer available parking for your weekend adventure vehicle.
