Description

Specialties

Certified in Sports Medicine Acupuncture. By utilizing both a western sports medicine evaluation/assessment as well as a Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment, our treatment approach bridges the gap between the East and West, drawing from both of these rich healing arts. Acupuncture is also very effective at treating menstrual disorders/pain, digestive problems including IBS, as well as sleep and stress issues.

When possible we combine the healing and restorative aspects of acupuncture with the rehabilitative possibilities of Pilates.

Our Pilates instructor is unique in her ability to help you create better, stronger, more functional movement with greater ease in your body.

We love to work with accomplished athletes, dancers as well as the weekend warrior and couch potato. We strive to help you move, live and be in your life and body with greater ease.

Heather C.

Business Owner

Heather Coyle graduated in 1999 from Bastyr University with a Master’s of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She began her studies of the body in 1991 at the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA and spent four years as a licensed massage practitioner. Heather was interested in expanding her knowledge base and scope of practice, and matriculated at Bastyr University. Since receiving her acupuncture degree, Heather has continued her studies by attending many workshops and has developed her own personal approach to her acupuncture work. By incorporating the teachings of eastern Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a more Western, physical medicine approach, she has developed a unique, hands on, palpation-based treatment style.

Heather is currently matriculated in a 1 year Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification Program, expanding her knowledge in Orthopedic-based assessments, muscle testing and nerve and spinal related disorders.
