Four Hands Bodywork & Massage offers expert therapeutic bodywork sessions tailored to your precise needs. I specialize in deep and focused work using a combination of modalities such as myofascial work, deep tissue swedish, neuro-​muscular therapy and orthopedic massage along with some Asian massage modalities.

I have a track record of working with clients with:

— whiplash injuries

— plantar fasciatis

— low back and hip pain

— knee pain

In addition, my passion is to work with athletes of all levels to help them achieve their goals, prepare for an event and recover from that event.

History

Established in 2006.

After working for different spas and clinic downtown, I wanted to create a different space where I would have the resources and time to tailor each session to the specific needs of my clients.

My passion for the human body and the relation to its environment has led me to study the history of many healing traditions around the globe. Throughout this ongoing journey, I have noticed that one of the most widely used tools for diagnosis and treatment is touch, or what I like to refer to as ‘hands on medicine’.

My early training focused on the art of traditional European massages and the science of myofascial, craniosacral, visceral and neuromuscular therapies. This helped me to formalize my understanding of human anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, subjects I understood intuitively as a former international competitive fencer. Living for almost 10 years in Asia opened my eyes to a different paradigm of understanding health and the body.
