Foot & Ankle Center of Lake City

I’ve been here several times now for both internal and external foot and ankle complaints, and Dr. Berg has been great each and every time. I’m really sensitive about my feet being touched and he has a gentle and easy manner that definitely helps with that. He and his staff and nurses are very pleasant work with, and the location is so convenient all around. This is a great place for all things feet and they have the experience and education to keep people of any age dancing!

The Foot and Ankle Center of Lake City is an extremely busy place which tells me they have a good practice with devoted patients. I had an issue with my foot and Dr. Berg was knowledgeable and informative. After becoming a patient and signing up for their newsletter, I now receive their occasional email newsletters full of information about overall health and various situations regarding feet. I highly recommend his practice to anyone and you will appreciate their informative newsletter too. Frances Velling

The office staff is great, the podiatrist’s assistants are somewhat disinterested (I don’t blame them), the podiatrist, Berg, seems to know what he’s doing but is long-​winded.
I am very happy with the orthotics they made, but felt like I wasted a lot of time in the office waiting for appointments.
If I had it to do over I might consider an orthopedic MD.

I went to the Foot and Ankle Center expecting the same from the reviews I saw online. They were extremely lacking in many ways and I have listed them below.
1– I was sent online paperwork to fill out, did so, then when i got there there was 2 more sheets of paperwork to fill out– no biggie but come on if I am going to go out of my way to print and fill them out, send me the whole package.
2– It was a Friday at around 4pm, the best time for a working person to take time off in my eyes. Continuously hear Rion Berg tell his assistance he didn’t want to deal with this or that because it was Friday and he wanted to go home. Could hear all this from the lobby waiting area.
3– Once I saw him and was explaining my issues he had the balls to say «If you would just let me speak!» Asshole.
4– When I told him both feet hurt bad he asked which one he wanted him to wrap until next visit? Fucking both?! I am in pain, I don’t care if you want to go home??? I don’t want to be in pain on one foot and not the other?!
5– He treated his help, an older Russian lady, like a piece of shit. Talked down to her, made her feel like an idiot and me feel awkward being there.
6– The receptionist didn’t set up another time for me to come in or offer it, I guess thats my job but don’t you think they would want my business again asap?
7– I cant get ahold my insurance to see if they will accept certain codes that were given to me for orthopedic inserts. The receptionist, you would think, would try to help with this. If it was approved, I would have got the inserts and made them $ 575. Not anymore.
I will not be returning, ever. This place seemed to have their shit together but I was mistaken.

This clinic is professional yet personal. I came here for a toe that I broke and was pointing the wrong direction. Dr. Paloian was able to get it back to it’s original place and it’s healing very nicely. They were able to fit me in between patients and were great to my crying 7 month old that I had to bring along!

Never had anything but good experiences here.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Medical Assistant is very caring. And Dr Paloian is awesome. She studied my foot well and get the right treatment it needs. I definitely recommend the place if you want to ease your foot pain. Thank you FALC.

Dr. Paloian cared for me well during the 4 times we met to fight a stubborn and nasty plantar wart. She suggested a variety of treatments (since there is no foolproof way) and adapted her beetle juice strategy to fit my foot’s sensitivity. She was willing to be available through pager when I was worried about the beetle blister forming (it was painful! – but effective). The wart seems to be gone (or at least mostly), though only time will tell to see if it comes back. She gave me other solutions to try if it does return, however. I am satisfied with my experience here and feel like Dr. Paloian was willing to try everything to fight my wart!

I was referred to the Foot and Ankle Center of Lake City by my primary care physician for a painful foot condition. I was seen by Dr Robyn Paloian and I couldn’t be more pleased. She was intelligent, compassionate, a very good listener and willing to brainstorm with me. After a thorough exam she had several suggestions. I saw her three times over six weeks and amazingly I am almost entirely pain free. Her assistant and office staff were very professional and helpful. I highly recommend them.
