Anne was such a pleasure to work with. She was responsive to calls and emails and willing to help with any of our questions or concerns. She knows her stuff and was very helpful when we began envisioning what our wedding flowers would look like. On the day of, she was prompt and the flowers looked stunning. We were very satisfied with her work and would highly recommend her services.

Anne is absolutely wonderful. I fell in love with her amazing studio in Georgetown. I loved how organized and professional she was, but still so artistic and creative. I brought her just a few pictures and told her about my modest color scheme… black and white. I wanted all white spring flowers with lots of greenery and black and white anemones. She designed the bouquets, the corsages, bouts, and centerpieces. When I saw the flowers that Anne delivered, they took my breath away. Besides the people at my wedding, the flowers were my favorite part. Everyone loved them. HIRE ANNE!

I met with Anne after seeing her portfolio online and seeing the positive reviews. After our initial meeting I knew I was in good hands for my wedding. Anne had great ideas, and completely understood my vision. After showing her a few pictures of centerpieces and bouquets that I liked, she immediately pulled together different flowers and glassware to help pull the look together. I felt like she understood exactly the look I was going for. I felt completely confident that the wedding would be beautiful!
We chatted a few times over email prior to the event, and she was even able to secure peonies early in the season right before my wedding (YAY!). I was getting more and more excited to see the final product! Two days before the wedding, I called and asked for her to drop off the bouquet early and at a different location. No problem! Wow, I love how flexible she is.
When I walked into the event space I was blown away. I already knew I was going to love the flowers because my bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. But the centerpieces, glassybabys (which she coordinated the rentals for me) and all the candles looked unbelievable. The textures, colors and the mercury glass all looked so fantastic. It was exactly what I wanted it to look like!
Floressence isn’t inexpensive, but what was delivered was beyond my expectations. You will be thrilled with Anne’s creative eye and she is so pleasant and wonderful to work with.

Anne and her team are spectacular! My husband and I were one of very lucky nine couples to be part of a group wedding on the first day that same-​sex couples could get married. Anne and her team donated all of their services to our event in honor of the historical day. I think that alone says a lot about Anne, her team and their generosity. This was also evident in the equisite flower arrangements, bouquets and boutineers at our big day. Solid-​white, perfectly chosen flower arrangements made us all look good! We can’t say enough good things about Floressence — you won’t be disappointed!

Anne is a total floral genius. That is all.
She recently did the flowers for my wedding (as well as some centerpieces for the bridal shower my aunts threw me) and I just still can’t stop thinking about how amazing they turned out. That was on top of the fact that I pikcked a very difficult color scheme to find flowers in! (Brown, cream, and this particular teal) but she made it work! I had two different kinds of center pieces — a trio of submerged flowers (gorgeous as it got dark and the floating candles on top cast shadows) as well as floating center pieces that looked like they had been taken directly from some fantasy stream.
I was actually planning my wedding almost completely from far away (ahem, Boston) and so we had a few phone meetings, but otherwise the actual appearance of the centerpieces was going to be a complete surprise. I basically just told her that I trusted her as a professional to figure out what looked good an in season and gave her a color swatc — and she took it from there!
Completely professional and responsive. Very reassuring when I started to worry about my color scheme and flowers not working out together. And walking into the reception and ceremony areas to discover what she had created was like Christmas morning! Her bouquets were bountiful! Breath-​taking!

I had a special project that I trusted to Anne, and she ABSOLUTELY blew me away! I only gave her my interior design style and she ran with it, creating an EXTREMELY unique and one of a kind concept for my studio/​office (well, 2, because she made coordinating arrangements for my presentation area). I promptly killed my poor little succulents (my thumbs are so black plants wither when I walk by), but never fear, Anne, came to the rescue and made them better than ever. Thank you Anne!!!

Anne is amazing! She was the florist for my sister’s wedding 2 years ago and will be doing the flowers for my own wedding in June.
She is so talented, and is always incorporating new ideas and concepts while staying classic and timeless with her arrangements.
Her prices aren’t the cheapest in the biz, but you wouldn’t want them to be. She earns every penny! That aside, if you have a budget she’s more than happy to work with it.
If you have a consultation with her, I suggest meeting her at her studio in Georgetown. It’s amazing and such a fun space!
Anne is such a joy to work with, and runs her business in a reliable, prompt and professional way. I’d recommend her to anyone!

Anne of Floressence did everything I could have wanted for my wedding and more. I went in to meet her after a referral from my hair stylist. When I arrived at her studio I was not even sure what colors I wanted for my wedding. She helped me sort that out, along with helping me create the most gorgeous look and feel for the event that I could have imagined!
She even had creative ideas for a «flower dog» and made a beautiful lazo for our lazo ceremony. Very willing to be creative and work with our personalities and budget. If I ever have another event that needs flowers, Anne will be the one I call.

On your Wedding Day, there are so many details that you hope will play out beautifully. If it hadn’t been for ya’ll I would never have found this incredible florist.
My wedding was a small, informal event yet Anne embraced my wishes as though I was a huge client. This young lady is an incredibly talented designer, so creative, and a Great Listener. I was impressed that she has the talent to create a floral wonderland for an expensive event, and can successfully scale-​back & create the same classy impact for a smaller event.
Anne is the type of entrepreneur who deserves to succeed, so when you need a florist I highly recommend you interview her.

Not only was I pleasantly surprised by the beautiful arrangements that showed up at my wedding, I was just plain speechless. Anne listened to every little detail I didn’t even realize I had given her, and each bouquet was a simple masterpiece. From my bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids’, all the way to the extra flowers she stuck onto our dog for pictures (at least temporarily, anyway), pure elegance. Dahlias and roses everywhere, in perfect bundles and bows, in exactly the right colors. Insert sigh of happy relief here.
