The owner tried to sell me 200KPSI carpets as 400+ KPSI at hiked prices(higher than any of the carpet stores in the same district). He seemed insulted when I asked simple questions; he seemed defensive. He did have some nice reproduction items at what I thought were priced slightly high, but I really liked them. I spent $ 4,500.00 on three things, during their last sale of the year in early December 2014. There wasn’t enough room in my Scion wagon for everything – so I took only half of the items home; he called several weeks later to deliver the other two items(a tall King Louis lingerie dresser with cast brass handles and Rococo-style ornaments and two ornate carved Rococo twin headboards). I was afraid they weren’t going to get back to me, but thankfully they have. I have yet to receive the items… will update on their condition when I do. Please note they are closing; their number is now disconnected, and I believe this sale was their last hurrah before going out of business(OOB).

We drove over from the Eastside to look at some antique furniture here. There was not a big selection, but they had some nice quality pieces. The only downside is the owner(man) seemed a bit snooty. He seemed to get upset when I opened the door to a cabinet(carefully. I have looked at many antiques over the years and own some), so he opened each cabinet door for us without saying a word and walked away without comment. He also seemed perturbed when I asked the price of an unmarked«reproduction» item, nor did he say thank you or anything else when we left leaving us uncomfortable, even though there were only one or two other customers in the shop.
