History

Established in 2007.

Essence is the second phase of a business that began in 2000 called Cuts on Wheels. I, Cherie, would travel to people’s homes and cut and color hair for those who had special needs and either could not get to a traditional salon or chose to have the luxury of someone coming to their home. Now at Essence, we travel to our clients if necessary, and we provide in salon modesty for those who need. We are able to offer a larger variety of services in the salon.

Business Owner

With 20 years both salon and business experience Cherie brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to both her clients and the business. Cherie has worked in many fields ranging from non-​profit to selling pharmaceuticals.

She has a BS in Psychology and license of Cosmetology and is able to combine both education and experience to provide the client with a warm welcoming environment, a safe place to chat and relax and a great style. Clients leave feeling good about themselves and pampered.
