Eric Hartmann

I was referred to Dr. Hartmann after a friend told me about her experience with 5 Element Acupuncture. This is not your run-​of-​the-​mill acupuncture session! 5 Element is different, less painful, and, in my opinion, a lot more effective than other practices.
I went to Dr. Hartmann after seeing various specialists and traditional doctors for a hormone-​related problem. I came to him feeling disheartened; every doctor just wrote me a prescription for a medicine that I knew just made my problem worse. Seeing Dr. Hartmann was like a breath of fresh air — he actually listened to me and took the time to really understand my problem. After my first session, I experienced near immediate relief of my symptoms. But it was more than just treating a symptom — I felt like my body was working again! Dr. Hartmann is caring, amazingly experienced and knowledgably, and a true healer. Highly recommended.

I’ve always preferred natural, homeopathic remedies when appropriate and Eric’s holistic approach is based on the sound belief that the mind, body and spirit have the power to heal itself.
He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring and thorough; he listens and takes the time to really get to know you. I also appreciate his gentle words of encouragement on how to incorporate more balance in the rest of my life. I now schedule sessions throughout the year and always come away feeling a sense of calm and well-​being.

I have been seeing Eric for about 3 years now. He is a geat acupuncturist and he does not try to change your lifestyle. I like the 5 element balancing philosophy and how they try to let one’s own body heal itself and just help in the healing process. He doesn’t prescribe lifestyle changes, either, which I find so refreshing. He will work with my needs, my lifestyle, and my preferences.
One thing about him– his needles hurt. He uses thinner needles than many other acupuncturist that I’ve been to, but I can still feel them travel up or down the meridian. But, the pain is always worth the result.
