Yu-​Yi is so personable and friendly, it felt like we were friends instantly. Her experience and skill are the best I’ve found in Seattle. Being Asian with a lot of hair, it’s hard to find a stylist that understands my hair… especially when I’m pretty picky and have spent a lot of time in Asia going to local salons. After living in Seattle for 20 years… I finally found a hair stylist I can trust, Yu-​Yi! :) Before I found her, I would wait for several months to a year until I go back to Asia to get my hair cut. She’s very busy and runs everything in her salon so the best way to get in contact with her is to send her an email:
and wait for a couple days until she can reply. Or stop by her salon during her business hours to set up an appointment.

I went in here with a young man who is pretty picky about his haircut. We had just found out that his former salon down the street was closed down! He was pretty nervous about trusting his cut to anyone else. However, as soon as we entered Eastlake Salon, Yu-​Yi had us at our ease with her friendly, warm personality. Although she doesn’t usually take walk-​ins, she found the time to help us out. She took the time to ask lots of questions about what he was looking for, and then she did a fantastic job with his cut! You could tell that she loved what she was doing and that she had a lot of experience. I would definitely recommend coming here!
