It really depends on the room. Choose wisely. If you pick a room on the west, in the summer the sun will roast your room. Pick a room on the east facing Mt. Rainier. The 3rd or 4th floor will be the best because you won’t be able to hear much noise in apartments above you. You can hear nothing below you. Occasionally you can hear cabinets closing in rooms adjacent(this is rare), you can hear anyone speaking loudly on the street level(this is rare), and you can hear people in the hallway(also rare). Whenever I have friends visit, I try to remind them to be quiet in the hallway to be considerate to the residents. Even if you can hear your neighbors and it’s too noisy, invest in a pair of noise cancelling headphones. If you want absolute peace and quiet, buy/rent a home in the suburbs and enjoy your long commute to work. Happy leasing!

Place rating: 1 Seattle, WA
This place was initially managed by Pinnacle. After a lease up, Pinnacle/owners quickly sold it and is now managed by Trimark UW Housing. The transition between two property management companies was poor. Barely any communication to the residents about what’s going on. Online we had to pay rent and submit maintenance request was taken away. You can now pay rent online if you want to pay a convenience fee. The leasing office in the front used to be staffed so staff could accept packages and provide other services, but now its been vacant ever since the transition. I see many missed package notes on the front door because noone is on site to let people in, and the packages sit on the floor un-monitored if they do make through the front door. Pet area in the back is kept in a poor condition. Always out of poop bags, poop trash bins are full. Propane gas on the roof top is often out. I have no idea how often the cleaning crew comes in. And most importantly, you can tell that building is poorly made. Noise travels everywhere, you can hear your next door neighbor, upstairs neighbor, people in the hall way, you name it. Mostly recently, the building identified a big leak from the roof top that saturated into the walls, and various units in the building have been damaged as a result. Again this was handled very poorly. No formal communication from Trimark Management, just bunch of contractors running around the building setting up fans and dehumidifiers everywhere. I am currently living with fans and dehumidifiers inside my unit, until they decide what to do. They are loud and noisy, and takes up too much space that we don’t have. The owners of this place doesn’t care. Trimark Property Management doesn’t care either. I can NOT wait until my lease is over and I can move out of this place. Don’t move in here, you will regret it. I will never ever live in an apartment managed by either Pinnacle or Trimark ever again.
