The practice was established formally at this location in 1990. Dr. Hoy worked in the practice in 1996 and purchased it in 2005. It has grown substantially over the years and has been known to be very engaged with the community it serves. John H.
Business Owner
Dr. Jinwah John Hoy received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington in 1994. He went on to medical school, completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco in 2000. He completed a hospital-based podiatric medical and surgical residency in San Francisco and San Diego, California in 2002.
Dr. Hoy then joined a large podiatric medicine and surgery group in San Antonio, Texas. He returned to Seattle and has owned and operated the Downtown Foot and Ankle Center since 2005. Dr. Hoy is a member of the Clinical Faculty of the University of Washington School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, as a Teaching Associate.
Dr. Hoy is certified by the American Board of Medicine, granted in 2006, and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, with Board Certification in Foot Surgery, granted in 2007, recertified in 2015.
