Double Helix Espresso Stand

A great little coffee stand in the middle of a research building. ‘Cause, y’know, who needs caffeine more than the people who are developing stuff that might save your life some day?
The guy who works here paints for a local band. (Yes, I said he PAINTS for a band — you’ll have to stop by to ask him what that’s all about!) Oh, and he also makes a mean cappuccino, AND he’s very honest about their products. For example, I inquired about the hemp milk that was advertised on little placards near the register; he explained that while it was actually quite good in other drinks, it does not make a good cappuccino. Good to know before you buy, right?
Bonus: If you go there just after 5 on at least Friday afternoons (not sure if this pertains to every other day, I just happened to go there just after closing one Friday), there are free bagels. But you don’t want to go there ONLY after 5, as you will miss Double Helix’s most excellent coffee, so go there earlier for the coffee, and come back for the freebie later!
