Lisa is absolutely amazing! I was freaked out when I got my speeding ticket. I had a good record, and couldn’t afford to have my insurance rates go up. Lisa’s whole team including her assistant, herself, and everyone else I dealt with handled everything very professionally. They made me feel comfortable, and kept me very informed about the case from the beginning to the end. They even reminded me to fill out paperwork, and to get them the information they needed even when i forgot. I feel like they took more initiative on getting my speeding ticket dismissed than I did.
I never had to go to court, she handled everything for me.

On Easter Sunday 2015 I was on the westbound 520 bridge and I was following a slow trooper. He moved to the right on the bridge and I interpreted that a indication that it was OK to pass him. Wrong, as soon as I passed him he immediately started following me and pulled me over at the Mont Lake exit. He told me that the speed limit was 40 which shocked me. I later found out it was 50. He wrote me a ticket going 20 over the speed limit which I knew was not true. After reading the Unilocal reviews I contacted Lisa Donaldson’s office and was greeted by her assistant. Caroline who explained the whole process to me. I just needed to fill out the appropriate forms which I did and they said they would handle everything. A couple weeks later I get a phone call from Lisa saying that my ticket had been dismissed by the judge because of 2 factors. 1) the ticket was filed in the wrong court. 2) The officer failed to note in his report the variable speed signs. This has been a great experience and I would not hesitant to recommend them for any traffic legal issues. Lisa and Caroline both rock.

I had two tickets in one day, 30 minutes apart… Lisa was able to get both of them dismissed and went to court on my behalf. I was in a hydroplane accident that involved two cars. The police officer who came to the scene shortly after the crash immediately ticketed both of us, though he also said that eight other drivers had had the exact same accident at the exact same spot on that day alone. This seemed to me to be a larger safety issue, and I contested the ticket immediately.

Before hiring Lisa I read all the reviews I could find for a traffic attorney and Lisa had quite a few and all seemed to be posative. It was a very good choice and I will recommend her services. Great experience and I’m still shocked how little she charged considering how much time she spent with me on the phone explaining everything regarding my case. Lisa is a true professional, takes the time to educate and has your best interest at heart. I had an accident on the freeway and was a case she was able to get dismissed. The best thing was I didn’t even have to show up at the hearing. I got a call the same day from Lisa regarding the results and WOW what a relief. I’d use her again in a heart beat… knock on wood.

I drive every day for work and recently got cited for serious speeding on I-​405 (80+ MPH in a 60 zone). To complicate matters further, I also had another speeding ticket in deferral from last spring, so ANY moving violation would have had a double impact on my driving record, fines, insurance premiums and emotional well being (the latter being most important, of course).

I’m more than a year late in writing this review, but they were very professional and prompt in dealing with the case (the outcome was in my favor).
I just remembered to write this review since I recently got another ticket (boo) and will be contacting them again for their services.

The bus company I worked for gave me a replacement bus which was probably as old as the one Rosa Parks sat on and looked like something out of a Steampunk comic. It takes half the day to get used to something this novel, and while trying to figure out which knob operated which feature, I failed to notice which gauge was the RPM and which was the MPH. They were, oddly, on the floor, and difficult to see with the steering wheel in the way.
So while I was going down to the south end of town, I mistook the RPM for the MPH, and kept pressing the accelerator, convinced that this contraption couldn’t go over 25 mph. In fact, I was nearing 50 (in a 30 zone), and as luck would have it, got «radared» by the police. Actually, I consider that a good thing, I could have caused some damage hitting the brakes thinking I was going only 25.
Since I don’t look like Anna Nicole Smith, or Steve Reeves for that matter, I could not talk the cop out of a ticket for this mishap. However, I did find Lisa Donaldson thru a website.
She was very personable on the phone, took care of everything, and I didn’t have to spend a minute in court or even go to her office. The speeding ticket got knocked down to something like inattention, which doesn’t affect my record or the company’s insurance. It was the first and only traffic ticket I’ve ever had. Because I have a CDL, I’m held to a higher standard, so I couldn’t get it completely dismissed. So, with ticket and atty fees, I was out $ 400, however, things could have been much worse without Ms. Donaldson. I recommend her without reservation.
I suggest you inquire about doing community service to offset the cost of the traffic ticket, should you get stuck with one.

I’m so glad I called Lisa Donaldson when I got my ticket – even though I didn’t think I deserved the ticket I thought trying to fight it would be daunting with little chance of success. At the last minute I gave her a call and she and her staff ran with it from there, and my ticket was dismissed. I don’t plan to get another ticket, but if it happens the first thing I’ll do is call Lisa.
