DJ’s Hardwood Floors offers fast, friendly and courteous service. We are a hardwood and ceramic tile company. We specialize in the refinishing of old worn floors We install all types of hardwood flooring including laminates and pergo as well as the new engineered flooring. We refinish hardwood flooring that has been covered up by carpet for years, we repair, we pffer custom staining. We do staircases as well.
We are licensed, insured and bonded. We have been in business in this area for the past 19 years. We use a «dustless» system for the refinishing work. Rated on Angie’s list as a contractor of the year for the last 6 years.

History
Established in 1992.
After working in this field for other hardwood flooring companies the owner decided to venture into the area of the unknown and start his own hardwood flooring business. Things were extremely hard the first few years as it took time to know the ins and outs of the field as well as become known to potential customers.
In the initial years, our business was strictly referral by word of mouth, money for advertising was limited and advertising was expensive. Finally, Angie’s List came into existence and customer listed us on that site with a great review from that point things began to take off. We have been listed now for some time and have over 100 reviews and maintain an «A» average. We have won the contractor of the year award the last 6 years in a row, on Angie’s List, for our category.

Business Owner
Dennis, known as DJ, has been a business owner since 1985 when he started a small janitorial business.
Prior to that he worked in several fields such as banking, and for Dun and Bradstreet while maintaing the janitorial service he took a job for a hardwood company and learned the skills that he now has to run a successful hardwood flooring company.
