7 years in w/​Dr. Davison and I still give her tremendous recommendations — I credit her healthy (much-​needed) weight loss through nutrition & diet, and also a focus on my mental well-​being that i may have never addressed on my own.
Highly recommend her – I’ve actually been moved to hug my doctor, who can say that?

My homeopath recommended Dr. Davison several years ago as a strong clinician with a systemic perspective on health. I could not be more impressed! From the minute I walked into the waiting room, I felt more comfortable and cared for than I had since I stopped seeing my pediatrician two decades ago. Her office doesn’t have the cold and sterile appearance of a normal doctor’s office — she has comfortable furniture and plants! She doesn’t rush through my appointment in 7 minutes before hurrying off to the next — a regular office visit is usually a half hour! There is always adequate time to explain my concerns and receive her feedback. Not only that, but she has always taken the time to check in with me about past concerns impacting my well-​being (how is my family situation? how stressful is my work? how much exercise am I getting? am I still having problems with _​_​_​_​?). Additionally, I can’t understand the previous reviews about her poor, unprofessional bedside manner. She IS direct and honest, but I find that attitude helpful rather than icy or invalidating.
Patients with pet allergies beware — she has a sweet and loving dog that greets each patient and willingly demonstrates what it means to relax.

My two friends who like going to Lisa recommended her to me, and they let me know she’s not frilly or sweet about anything. They said she was a straight shooter, but was an MD who thought through wholistic approaches. They also said she’s not quick to run you off to a bunch of tests or give you a bunch of drugs. They were right. She’s a good fit for me (and I do appreciate that’s unique) and I Love that there’s a dog in her office… that totally calmed me down.

I found Lisa through several very strong recommendations looking for a good GP with common sense and a holistic approach to health. Lisa has been all that and more. I appreciate her directness and willingness to listen as I worked through post-​baby and (approaching!) mid-​life concerns.

While I think the anje’s review is a little much I have to admit I didn’t have a good experience either. Her bedside manner was very icy and I left feeling really invalidated. As a professional in a helping field I know how to communicate in healthcare settings well, even for myself. I was really disheartened to have my issues dismissed like that. I have sought out another provider who took my concerns seriously and got the treatment I needed.
I would not recommend this doctor should you have medical issues that are sensitive in nature i.e. anything other than a routine shot or getting antibiotics.

Dr. Davison is not of sound mind to advise or care for living beings. A horrifying experience with this doctor… horrifying. A medical professional should not suggest Anorexia. People die from Anorexia to say the very least.
The nurse practitioner on staff, a friend and colleague of Dr. Davison, is not fit to associate with people in the medical arena either. This isn’t ego, this isn’t comedy, this is serious. I wouldn’t advocate an arch nemesis make an appointment with Dr. Davison, or anyone she shares an office with, let alone a city.
Some doctors have no bedside manner, some doctors just don’t have the time and some doctors are sadistic mad scientists who got into the profession to experiment. I can’t imagine what other deadly advice she dishes out to people who seek out assistance.
