History

Established in 2005.

Chweny & Design was established in 2005 by designer Rina Chweny Shin. During the first few years, it was a blog-​based free source of computer graphics designed by Rina. In 2008, Chweny & Design started to reach out to people by delivering design solutions to their clients all over the globe. We offer a wide range of creative services from business card, logo, stationary, flyers to websites and lots more!

At Chweny & Design, we believe a good design is a balance of quality and functionality as well as in a timely-​manner. Design is a presentation for audience to discover who you are, why you are here, and what you can do for them.

As part of the community, Chweny & Design loves to give back! Our «BadBadMonkey Design for Charity (BBMDC)» program was established in summer 2009, assisting non-​profit organizations to create promotional items for their charity events.

Meet the Business Owner

Rina S.

Business Owner

Rina spent most of her life in Seattle and Kaohsiung, a city in southern Taiwan. Although these two cities are ten thousand miles apart, they are both metropolitan cities with a heart of a small town. Greatly influenced by such friendly milieu, her design work always carries a sense of warmth that leaves a long and lasting impression.

Rina’s familiarity with the history of the Eastern traditional arts, and her formal training in Western contemporary design at the University of Washington, enable her to integrate elements from multiple cultures into a new and refreshing design style.
