History

Established in 1990.

In 1990 Dr. Pickel started practicing dentistry at North Seattle Dental, a family practice in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle. He became a clinical instructor at the Kois Center for Dental Excellence in 2002, and in 2009 became the president of the Seattle-​King County Dental Association.

Dr. Chris Pickel is one Seattle’s premier cosmetic specialists, and one of the most respected and well known dentists in the Pacific Northwest. Over the last two decades, Dr. Pickel has helped thousands of people in the Puget Sound attain great dental health and their own personal smile goals.

Always on the cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Pickel attends about 200 hours of continuing education in cosmetics, reconstruction, and advanced dental technologies each year. He is also an educator, teaching classes on Treatment Planning and Risk Assessment to other dentists at one of the more prestigious dental training schools in the country.

Outside of the office, Dr. Pickel is an avid skier, and can be found most weekends during the winter with his family at Mission Ridge (where both his kids are on the race team). He’s also a comedy buff, and some of his patients have been known to call him «a pretty funny guy.» (After 25 years, his comedy routine is finally starting to come together…)
