Great lunch menu. We all had the Teggi’s chicken special. Very fresh and very tasty. I would go again.

I don’t normally eat a lot but the lunch special I ordered look like kids meal and the taste is so so. it’s not cheap but at the end I had to run to Starbucks and grab something else to eat. I feel bad leaving a bad review because the owner was friendly, but I’d not recommend this restaurant to any one.

Like many, I came here because it was across from the Space Needle. Would I be swayed again in the future? Only if I needed to use the restroom and get a drink(that came out of a can). There is patio seating. This especially got me, as I love to sit outside and enjoy the air. Outside is pretty run down. .. but that doesn’t detract really from being able to see the Space Needle. My husband ordered one of the Korean dishes and it looked pretty gross. .. and tasted that way too. I ordered(something?) and while I can’t remember it, I know it wasn’t good either. I am truly surprised how this place can stay open! *I feel sorry that it is a mom and pop place. I wish I could support them more in their endeavor.

Came in at 11:30am on a whim. Ordered bulgogi, was told they were«out of real food– only sandwich». Got my sandwich and green tea frapp $ 15… Not worth it. Couldn’t finish the other half of my sandwich it was awful. Assuming you’re about to get a bite to eat(somewhere) I’ll spare you the grizzly details of the bathroom aftermath. Never again Bee! Save your money and get«real food» and friendly service deeper in Belltown.

Excellent location for a little coffee and breakfast. Especially for tourists heading toward the Space Needle. It’s directly across the street from the needle. Good for small groups who are looking for a light breakfast or lunch. Cute outdoor tables, some inside seating. Service is pleasant with quick service. Unfortunately the coffee must have been down to the grounds since the flavor was stale. Something of note, there is a 10 dollar minimum for credit card use.

Horrible coffee! The fraps are just sugar. The owner is a grouch and practically said I was lying. I paid for 3 espresso shots and the lady said I only paid for 1 so I had to explain that I had done 2 transactions and paid $ 17 already. Not coming back

Descriptive phrase: worst mocha and frapp. I feel bad leaving a 1-star review, as the two owners of this place were friendly and it seems like it could be a charming place with a little more care taken to update its appearance. But the mocha and frappacino we had were literally the two worst we’d ever had in our lives. Undrinkable; we threw them out after struggling through a quarter of the cups. And not cheap, as you’re right next to the Space Needle. Food might be good? Don’t get anything to drink here.

I came, I saw. I won’t be going back. Very cute from the outside. Very disappointing on the inside. I got a honey nut latte. It was just ok. In fact, I’m either just the biggest idiot or Seattle has the most overrated coffee scene on the PLANET. But it was made quickly, and I guess there’s points to be scored for that. I also thought maybe a pastry would be good. Dude, it was prepackaged shyte you can get at ANY convenience store. Heck, there is a 7 – 11 across the street. I’d have gotten a latte and pastry a lot cheaper. Just overall, a huge disappointment. For a place that’s supposed to be a café, you need to up your game a little.

I don’t know how anyone can rate this place above a 1. It’s sanitation is beyond disgusting, it’s service is far from acceptable, and it’s food is boring, sick, and was served undercooked and cold. I went for breakfast, and ordered an egg omelet, and a carmel latte. Before I ordered I had a strong instinct to turn the other direction and run, but I thought, «It’s right across from the Space Needle, and still running; it must be delicious.» Boy, was I wrong. My Latte was luke warm, and the food was cooked alarmingly fast for what I ordered. While browsing around as my latte was being made, I noticed there was a layer of dust that smothered every surface of the place, the outside was covered in mildew and moss, there were decorations in the place that looked like they hadn’t been touched, moved, or cleaned since the turn of the century, and there was bacon laying out on a surface of the kitchen, which I believe went into my omelet. I was accompanied by my boyfriend, who was also trying to be optimistic about our dining choice, but when we were served our food, he couldn’t believe he paid over 10 dollars for a sandwich that was charred, boring, small, and had a stale taste to it. My omelet had raw and undercooked egg in the middle of it, the cheese wasn’t melted, and lord only knows about the bacon. I didn’t eat it, despite it only taking five minutes to come out of the kitchen, it was room temperature… I felt like I couldn’t complain to the clerk about the food, considering I had been yelled at by the woman cooking to not sit at a table that was out on a small balcony,(also suspicious.) Not to mention, I pointed at the tables when we were served our food and asked if they could be whipped down, because there was unidentified liquids on them, and I got a glare and potentially a scoff. To top all of this off, the owner seemed to be watching a Korean soap opera on his iPad, that had an alarming amount of intimate noises sounding from it, which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable for eating, and made my boyfriend and I feel like we couldn’t have a conversation.

Excellent food– I ordered the Teggi Chicken. It tasted great. The soy sauce is made in-house and was the perfect flavor. Great service and good price. Right across the Space Needle, nice view of the park

This tiny hole in the wall restaurant exists for one reason only. It is across the street from The Space Needle. Were it anywhere else, it wouldn’t last thirty days. The food is awful, the owner/operator is a grouch, and the prices are inflated. Avoid this tourist trap. There is a McDonald’s nearby.

This place looked cute and a little charming so we decided to try it. My mistake. should have read the reviews first. Upon entering the indoor area to order, we were not greeted despite the man not being busy. Even once I moved up to the counter it seems as if we were bothering him to order. I decided to play it safe with a club sandwich, my friend had some sort of Korean spicy pork dish. It wasn’t spicy at all, a bit bland and quite mediocre. The club sandwich was alright but again nothing special. They brought the food out to us, we were sitting out on the little terrace, but wouldn’t come past the step. She stood on the step and held it out. So much for service. She also seemed quite bothered by having to come out. Not a single smile or thank you from either who worked there, who I assure are the owners. Great location but mediocre food and poor service.

I went to this place with my auntie and uncle from LA after dropping off from a local tour bus, dropped off in front of space needle and kinda hungry, we don’t know where to go and so my auntie decided to go here. We didn’t expect a big dish since we got a schedule to follow on, so we only ordered a pair of sandwich for me and my uncle, my auntie just sits back and watches us ordering the food. Then we find our seats and get to know each of our comments;i say this place is kinda basic but the sandwich is tasty and cheap, my uncle says«pretty basic sandwich» but my auntie has a negative comment about the owner, saying that the Korean grandpa who owns this place is mad at us(unknown reason), or being impolite at customers. Last, but not least, service is fast, we immeadiately got our foods after we sit about 2 minutes i think.

Depending how old you are, and if you visited Disneyland more than a few times back in the day. You might remember a working strawberry farm not too far from the park. Even as a little kid, I remember seeing the field practically within the shadows of the main gate and thinking WTF ? It was déjà vu all over again when touristing about Seattle(Space Needle, EMP, monorail,. hey monorail?.. connection? hmm.) and noticing this tiny understated café in the middle of all the redeveloped hub-bub. It’s a small corner café, with a few inside tables inside and some pleasant patio seating. If your looking for something more than fast food, but not the commitment of a restaurant, This place is a pretty good choice. Operated by a long time Korean couple the menu is where Seoul meets the Sandwich. The sesame chicken and rice lunch was excellent. The club sandwich was a healthy stack. Somebody had the soup. Pops runs the front, Mom fires up the stove and does the cooking so It did take awhile, We ate in shifts, which was a bit troubling. The prices weren’t that steep, in fact very reasonable considering the area. We enjoyed our experience and it was fun to sit on the patio and people watch as we ate.

Food was pretty decent but the service was super slow. They took our food to the wrong table, then once we had our food they brough us someone else’s food as well. Tables were dirty and they brought us dirty forks. For a $ 9 sandwich I’d expect a little more.

I’ve only tried their bulgogi and yakisoba, and it’s very good. The prices are comparable to any other Korean restaurant and I’m glad I can get Korean food so close to downtown Seattle without having to wonder into International District. The owners seem unfriendly at first, but they are actually really nice people and since I am now a «regular» they are very talkative and kind to me.

****** WARNING: TOURISTTRAP ******** In a nutshell: *Pricey, not worth it at all for what you pay for. *Bad service. not even a smile *Boring food. bland bland bland. *Long wait… 45 minute wait for coffee and food — — — — — — - If you still want to know more, read on… I’ve been wracking my brain to figure out how a business like this in such a prime location survives… Then it hit me. That’s EXACTLY why they have survived. the high tourist location. All first-timers hungry or thirsty for something good to ingest and stumble into this grave shop to never return again. Now, I’m not usually that critical until I see a need for it. See, had the food been remotely tasty or even if the lady(only one working there) cracked a smile, I would not be so angry. Neither of that was the case. We first approached this café on our way to the EMPSFM, starving for some breakfast(I’m sure just like any other unfortunate tourist). I saw the sign for Café Bee and was excited because to see they offered Korean dishes and thought it would be much more tasty than regular breakfast food. … WRONG. The food was bland. They offered basic boring breakfast menu options which they cease to serve past 11am, and basic Asian/Korean dishes that tasted like a frozen dinner. The wait was horrendous seeing that this café didn’t care to employ more than one person behind the counter to work the register and make all the drinks and food. Never again. You have been forewarned.

Disappointing doesn’t quite cover it. I was downright bewildered and frustrated by the end of the dining experience. Located beautifully, directly across from the Space Needle, I thought I could at least get decent food here. No. I went for breakfast and my heart sank just looking at the menu. Not finding anything remotely interesting or appetizing, I went to order a simple egg with toast, the egg poached. They don’t poach eggs. They know how(or so they say) but they don’t do it. Egg Cookery 101 already failing from the start here. Even the toast disappointed somehow coming out just barely toasted, mostly just like a spongy piece of wonderbread. Then the smoothie. I ordered their blueberry-pomegranate-acai smoothie hoping that they could at least save themselves with fruit in a blender. No such luck. They combined sugary berry-flavored water/juice with ice in a blender and served that for $ 5. Just plain insulting at that point. The service also sucked. Hold onto your appetite for an extra two blocks walk and spare yourself all the disappointment and frustration.
