At Brush we strive to make your dental experience one of comfort and relaxation. Whether it’s the coffee/​bottled water in the waiting room, the overhead TV’s piping in Netflix or Pandora through your own personal headphones or a nice warm towel at the end of each appointment, we want your visit to be as enjoyable as possible. We are located right on 45th with free convenient underground parking. We offer comprehensive and cosmetic solutions to all your dental needs.

Established in 2013.

In 2013 husband and wife, Dr Annie and Dr Jeff, purchase this practice from another dentist and Brush was born. Brush has kept the patient first attitude that had been a part of the previous practice for 20 years while incorporating the latest and greatest technology to treat all patients needs.

Dr. Jeff Knudson is a Seattle native and a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He has a great passion for dentistry and is constantly honing his skills through many hours of continuing education. When he is not focusing on teeth, Dr. Jeff is spending time with his wife Dr. Annie (also a dentist) their daughter Charlotte and their little dog Finn.

Today was my first time visiting this office. I had noticed the sign before and the Unilocal reviews were good so I thought I’d check it out.
I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple of years so there was definitely work to do. .. but the hygienist was friendly, thorough, and as gentle as she could be.
The office team did a great job of explaining my teeth to me and giving me a more extensive knowledge about tooth care, cavities, and daily upkeep than I’ve ever gotten. It was really interesting to know and I definitely felt more knowledgeable after leaving. They’re also conservative with their treatments. They won’t have you get work done unless you actually need it — which my wallet is thankful for!
Overall, I think I’ve found my dentist. Luckily they’re just around the corner from me but I think I’ll be coming here long after I move out of the u-​district area.

This is the best dental experience that I’ve had.
I went in for a check-​up and they entire experience was great. Friendly staff, no waiting, really nice facilities and they have TVs with Netflix that you can watch while they work.
Today, I went back to have a few fillings put in and a bite guard made. The experience was equally as great. No waiting, really cordial staff and the work was done quickly and efficiently. I (and my girlfriend) will be going back here for all of our dental needs going forward.

Hands down the best dental Servise I have had in my 33 years of living. Ok well maybe I didn’t have teeth for all 33 of those years, but you get it. The best Servise and most skilled dentists and dental hygienist. I get regular cleanings there, I’ve had invisaline through them and a few other procedures and everything has always been the most comfortable and timely. I highly recommend their services.

I have to say… I really hate dentists. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences, sweating and writhing in the chair while something involving the scene from Little Shop of Horrors plays out around me.
But not so at this place. I just had the most informative, sensitive, gentle, and kind dental exam and cleaning ever. Dr. Knudson is amazing. She was kind and patient about my very sensitive teeth, and took the time to educate me and empower me to take care of my teeth better.
I got to watch TV, and everyone was pleasant to deal with, from the quick and prompt email communication, to the text message reminder of my appointment, to the dental hygienist. Because I’m a new patient, Dr. Knudson cleaned my teeth herself — I’ve never had a dentist do that. She said she wanted to really get to know my teeth, and that was the best way to do so.
I would give these guys six stars if I could.

Dr. Knudson and his staff are awesome. I asked for a new patient appointment and the soonest they could do was sometime in April, but I responded asking for a 7am appointment and they had just gotten a cancellation for 7am the following day. The nurse was 5 minutes away from leaving and she stuck around to make sure I wanted it and put me on the schedule!
I had to get my x-​rays and she was so sweet, explaining why it was more painful than I remembered (due to advanced technology, which I’m ok with!), talking me through what was going on, etc.
Dr. Knudson was very congenial, offered to let me watch TV while I was getting my cleaning, and was really funny too! He explained everything he was doing, explained why he was doing it, and explained what he was finding throughout the entire appointment.
I absolutely loved this appointment. Seriously, I’d go back for another cleaning tomorrow!

Dr. Knudsen and his staff are true professionals. They exhibit compassion, attention to detail, and an eagerness to communicate and inform that is all-​to-​rare in the medical and dental fields these days. Critically, he understands that being judgmental does nothing to build rapport with his clients – you will not be lectured for the condition of your teeth, or made to feel ashamed for needing repairs. Instead he will tell you what’s wrong, what needs to be done to fix it, and how to prevent future problems.
Hands down the best dentist I’ve ever seen.

Dr. Jeff told me. «Your teeth are boring as usual!» And we laugh! It cracks me up! Not like I am wanting to have some sort of issue or anything. I just like that he takes good care to check things out. He doesn’t allow my mind to wonder and start inventing treatments. Now that I sound like a loon! Truth be told, I moved a lot growing up. I had several orthodontist and dentist, each would tell me something different. It was always an anxiety ridden trip to see my dentist/​orthodontist. I recommend Dr. Jeff to ANYONE! And Melanie his hygienist is FANTASTIC!!! She suggested that I floss in the shower… that I won’t ever skip. It’s TRUE!!!

I am currently getting Invisalign treatment from Dr. Jeff Knudson and he is incredibly knowledgable about every step of the process.
I will post before and after pictures to this review once my treatment is finished. The Invisalign trays were suppose to take 4 – 6 weeks to process but the turn around time was less than 2 weeks. Super speedy service! This means I’m on my way to a straighter smile even sooner than I expected which is more than I could hope for.
The receptionists are fantastic at scheduling appointments and accommodating the needs of guests. They are friendly and welcoming.
There is a TV Screen provided above the patient chair so guests can watch netflix while they are being worked on. it’s fantastic!
The office is incredibly clean and well taken care of. i have another year left until my Invisalign treatment is finished and I will update this post then.
UPDATE 9÷3÷2015: I have finished my invisalign treatment for the most part, and I am incredibly satisfied. Dr. Knudson took the extra time to make the teeth evened out even though it was not the most comfortable of experiences. I have added my BEFORE and AFTER photos to the business photos for Brush Dental — check them out if you’re curious. This is a great little dentist office and they truly care about investing in the long term well being and dental health of their clients. 5⁄5

Brush Dental is great! Doctor Knudsen is super patient and has really worked with me throughout my invisalign treatment to make sure I’m getting exactly what I want (he spent like 2 hours just yesterday, in fact, basically sculpting me a non-​destructive veneer and was totally calm and nice with me even after I nitpicked at like 4 different things– end result is that it looks great and nobody can tel it’s not my real tooth!). All of the assistants there are also incredibly sweet and good at not poking your gums and stuff like that.

Just moved to the area and needed a new dentist. I would like to preface by saying that I do not like going to the dentist. I know, a total cliché, but I always have bad news and just an unpleasant experience.
Having said that, Dr. Knudsen and his staff are absolutely AMAZING. I just had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled (yuck) and I am beyond impressed with the finesse, skill and empathy displayed by Dr. Knudsen and his team. Their kindness and knowledge has completely changed my perception of «going to the dentist.»
Thank you so much to the Brush team for such exceptional work and for making a difficult day so easy. Glad we have found our new dentist :)

I can’t even begin to say enough GREAT things about BRUSH Dentistry. Dr. Knudson provides superior service and makes going to the dentist actually enjoyable. After visiting him, I had my entire family move over to his practice. I could go on and on about what stellar experiences we have had there.

I had such a great experience at BRUSH Dentistry! I recently moved from San Diego to Seattle and was in need of a new dentist. I am very particular about any doctor I see and research extensively until I find one I feel meets my standards (i.e. education, business standards and practices, services, etc).
I found BRUSH and couldn’t be more impressed. The staff is very welcoming, my dentist is very knowledgeable and friendly and the office is outfitted with all the latest technology. I couldn’t be happier with my dentist. If anyone in the Seattle area needs a dentist, I strongly suggest BRUSH — Cosmetic, Implant, and General Dentistry.
