Description

Specialties

For over ten years Brouwer’s Café has been one of Seattle’s most sought out craft beer destinations. With 64 craft beers on draft, a selection of over 400 bottles from both the U.S. and abroad, and Belgian inspired cuisine, as well as an exceptional selection of Scotch and American Whisk (e)ys and a full service bar. Our «Power Hour» is from 3 pm to 6 pm everyday and boasts a delicious selection of food as well as $ 1 off all draft beers and well cocktails. Our Belgian inspired cuisine includes our take on Belgian classics such as our Pommes Frites, (true Belgian fried potatoes) similar to fries, only better, Stoofvlees (a thick Belgian stew served on Frites), and of course the Belgian staple of Moules-Frites. We also serve a variety of sandwiches, such as our very popular Lamb Burger which is ground in house, we have a selection of Salads, as well as Desserts, and a rotating Specials Menu.

History

Established in 2005.

It wasn’t long ago that most fine restaurants revered wine and denounced beer. Today, most restaurants offer craft beer and it has become a welcome change. Brouwer’s Café set out to revolutionize the way we approach food and drink. The beers are meticulously cared for to ensure the perfect pour. The beer is often integrated into the food and prominently displayed in the proper glass, as is custom in Belgium. The staff is rigorously tested and held to a very high standard of beer knowledge. As todays beer enthusiast becomes increasingly mindful of the enormity that is the beer market, we must remain attentive to the industry at large.

Seattle has always been at the forefront of America’s craft beer revolution, and set the tone for what kind of legacy we will contribute. In a very short amount of time America’s craft beer movement and specifically the Pacific Northwest has flourished into a world-class haven for beer lovers.
