Exactly what a barber shop should be: clean, comfortable, friendly, and a quick excellent cut. All of these hold up for the Ballard Barber Shop, and then some. This is a one-​chair place, and you do get the one-​on-​one treatment.
The price is good for Seattle ($ 18 for most cuts), and Bob (and the regular customers) makes for great conversation. The only thing to note is the hours and days are short (M-​Thurs, 8a-​4p), but if you can squeeze it in, its well worth it.
