These guys did my move yesterday. They moved very slow and took their sweet time! My move into a large studio apartment took 5.5 hours and should’ve only taken 3. They had 3 guys, but I only asked for 2. They even tried to act like they were giving me a deal by only charging for using 2 guys at 5.5 hours! I only asked for 2 so that isn’t a deal!
At one point I looked out the window and watched the 2 guys that were the «runners,» stand behind the truck and talk to the guy packing for several minutes! We did have to travel from my current apartment to my storage to the new apartment. But the actual travel time was 45 mins max. We also ran into an issue because the apartment scheduled 2 move-​ins that day. Even that was only 30 mins of waiting!
They had a move earlier that day, so maybe they were tired??? Either way, I probably paid an extra $ 200 due to them moving EXTREMELY slow. I won’t be using this company again. Very disappointed.

This company is all that you could ask for in movers. Victor, Tim and Daniel did my move. They were punctual, professional, careful and NICE. They were super easy going about parking a large truck in Seattle and were able to maneuver their truck into the tiniest of alleyways and driveways so the neighbors wouldn’t complain. They even helped me drop something off at GOODWILL. There are no surprise fees. I needed more time for my move and they were able to extend by 30 minutes. They even took apart and put together my furniture.

Victor, Tim and Daniel did a great job moving me to a new apartment. The elevator actually broke during the move and they had to use the stairs but were troopers about it. They arrived on time for the move and nothing was broken. Thanks guys!

Used Ben’s Moving Co several different times, and each time they guys showed up on time (or early), and get the work done.
Lost 1-​star because during the last move, I had an appointment with them, and when I called to confirm the day before the move, they insisted I was not scheduled for a move. After several go around, they then realized they had made a mistake and I was the one scheduled. Omar and his crew showed up early and moved my stuff with no problems, so I considered it no-​harm/​no-​foul.
Update: 01-​22-​2016:
Added back the star. Used Ben’s Moving yet again (I think this is my 4^th time now), and it went smoothly (yet again). Omar and his crew did what they always do, show up on time, and professionally ensured my items arrived at their new home with safely and securely. They even helped bring in some newly delivered baby furniture that was siting on the front porch.

Victor, Tim, and Daniel were awesome. They arrived on time, communicated extremely well, kept a positive attitude (despite the 3^rd story walk-​up!) and worked hard and consistently the entire time. We were very happy with their service, price, and attitude. It was easy to schedule, too. Additionally, they brought blankets, tape, and plastic to wrap the furniture and protect while in storage. They had a great system to maximize storage use and packing into the truck. Not having to rent (or drive) a moving truck – or deal with U-​Haul – was a relief on it’s own! We will be calling them again when we’re ready to move out of storage and into our next home.

A big thanks and thumbs up to Victor, Tim, and Daniel from Ben’s Moving. Easiest, most professional move I’ve had. And I’ve moved alot. Scheduling ahead of time was efficient and responsive. On moving day they texted me to give exact ETA. They arrived on time, backed up the big truck into our narrow driveway. They worked quickly and almost silently, emptying out my 2 bedrom bedroom apartment in about 1.5 hours. I had many loose items, lamps, mirrors, artwork, etc. They wrapped anything with drawers or glass fronts. The exit to the unit was tricky but didn’t slow them down.
When we arrived at the new place they protected the floor and kept up the quick pace. I was moving into a condo complex where they had to park a distance from my front door but that didn’t slow them down either. The entire move from one side of Seattle to another took less than 4 hours. Nothing was damaged. I have to mention as well that they were very respectful and polite.
It can be hit or miss with hiring movers but I would use these guys again in a heartbeat and have already recommended them to my best friend who is moving soon as well.

Victor, Donny, and Omar were kind, careful and quick movers. They were able to move my entire unit faster than expected.
Most importantly they made sure everything was transported safely, nothing was broken or damaged during our move.

Ben’s Moving responded quickly to my initial inquiry. They arrived promptly and were very hard workers. They loaded and unloaded our belongings quickly. They paid careful attention to our belongings and treated them as if they were their own. They shrink wrapped and used blankets where needed and there was nothing broken in the move. They were polite and hard working and a pleasure to deal with. It felt like family was moving us. I would highly recommend them and would have no hesitation in calling them for a move in the future.

They moved us today and they are AMAZING! Simply put, they were quick and efficient, careful with our furniture and boxes, and did I say fast? In under 4 hours, they moved us from a 2 bdrm house into a third floor apartment 45 minutes away. The men that worked with us were considerate and polite, even wiping their feet and cleaning up the mess behind them. And their prices are unbelievable! And their prices are UNBELIEVABLE!

I used Ben’s moving services for a move from a condo in downtown Seattle to a condo in downtown Bellevue. The group of Victor, Donny and Omar were the best movers I have ever used. They were very professional, they were careful in packing and moving every piece of furniture and they were very efficient too. It’s hard to get movers who take great care of the pieces they’re moving and also at the same time waste no time. These guys did just that. They are simply the best and I look forward to using them again in the future.

Posting this for my mom. She just bought a large and heavy bedroom set and needed someone to move it ASAP. I hopped onto craiglist to find moving companies that could help within the next two days. I found one moving company that was cheaper then Ben’s Moving but when I looked up the Unilocal reviews, it was HORRIBLE. These guys were a little more expensive but they brought thier own truck, moving blankets, plastic wrap as well as had great reviews and were bonded/​insured. This made us feel more comfortable that they were not going to break the slab travertine furniture. They were fast but not careless, polite, didn’t goof around and the guy she bought the bedroom set was also impressed by thier professionalism. She and I will both used these guys again.

I have used Ben’s Moving company for 4 different moves and they have always been ontime and done an excellent job. I would recommend to everyone.

Victor, Danny, and Omar moved me in the Seattle area. They were great! Very hard-​working and efficient. They had plenty of blankets and plastic wrap to protect all of my items during transport which was much appreciated. I would recommend them to any friends!

I recently used Ben’s Moving service for my very first home purchase. The closing date was rescheduled a couple of times but they were very nice to shuffle their schedule to make things work for me. On the moving day, they showed up on time, they were fast, and followed my instructions exactly the way I asked them to. I am very impressed and thankful to this company for making things go so smoothly. I want to specially thank the moves that showed up. Victor, Omar and Raphael!

I made a 1:30 pm Saturday 11÷14÷15 appointment and they flaked on us.
They wanted to move the appt for the next day because a different guest was going to pay them for 3 hours during our appointment.
My wife waited in the rain for 1 hour. I was away and working. They did not return my numerous phone calls and text messages.
Very unprofessional. Pay more for another service to avoid Ben’s Moving & Delivery.

I used Ben’s Moving & Delivering Services to move our 4 bedroom house. They were quick, very professional and were careful with our belongings. These guys are very are awesome! I want to send special thanks to the movers. Thank you guys!

Donny, Victor and Jefferson did a great job, they were super fast and efficient and handled moving my ridiculously heavy adjustable base bed up a flight of stairs. They did show up a bit later than we had originally agreed and that meant having to pay more drive time due to traffic, but i wouldn’t hesitate to use them again when i move again.

I hired Ben’s moving to move four couches in Seattle. I had reached out to several moving companies from Unilocal and Craigslist. Ben’s was the first to respond, and they were by far the cheapest. I wasn’t doing a huge move, so I did’t want to pay ‘big company’ prices.
Ben’s was available the next day, and let me know the fees up front. Victor, Omar and Jose showed up right on time, did a quick job picking everything up, and even faster job dropping everything off. I had only hired two guys, but they had extra guys available, so they brought them, at no extra charge.
Overall, extremely happy with Ben’s Moving.

Pros: Prompt, Fast and Effecient — I booked Ben’s moving services a couple of days before my move and and they were willing to accomodate at short notice. The guys were prompt in arriving on time and starting to load boxes that I had packed. The unloading process was relatively faster and they did help setting dismantled bed back in shape at the desired place.
Cons: Customer Experience, Hidden charges unless you clarify in advance — Customer trust is critical in services, and that bring this feedback rating down to 2 Starts. I had discussed the pricing to be $ 85/​hr + $ 30 for gas, for 2 helpers and whereas they brought 3 helpers hence raising the hourly charge. I would have been happy to pay more if they had told me about this in advance and not catching me offguard with a $ 120/​hr charge + $ 30 for gas for 3 helpers.
Overall, good movers if you are clear and keep them transparent on transactions.

Bens moving’s latest comment states that my texts were fabricated. I have the confirmation from my cell phone provider to confirm the texts. Also I removed the saved name from my address book and you can clearly see their number in my latest post.
Proceed with caution. I will bve hire them again. See other reviews.

Given the untrue comment Bens moving company left after I posted my review I wanted to address them.
1 — you don’t agree to a rate and a number of movers then change it because you think the customer needs more movers. Especially if this results in a higher rate. (See attached pic of our text message exchange confirming the rates)
2 — my old apartment doesn’t even have 7 floors and my new apartment doesn’t have 10 floors — it has 5. And I live on the second floor. Parking for both was out in front, not a half a block away.
3 — the owner claims that he has insurance and is bonded but when I sent him text messages to ask him to fix the issue, he never responded. I even gave him multiple opportunities to fix it before I posted my review and he ignored me.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE MOVERS

I contacted Ben’s moving via the information in their craigslist ad. After leaving a voicemail I received a prompt response from the owner to schedule my move. We agreed upon a $ 30 trip charge, and a rate of $ 85/​hr. I was told two men would show up to move my 1bd.
The movers did arrive promptly at 8am, however I was surprised to find 3 movers since we agreed upon 2. I was told by the movers that the job after me required 3 so they sent three for me. Never did they mention a higher rate.
The movers were painfully slow. It took them almost four hours to pack my 1bd apartment into their truck. With 3 men and a dedicated freight elevator that’s ridiculous.
The unload process was short — I assume it was because they needed to get to their next move. 6.5hrs total. I was informed that the move would costs $ 810 when I clarified the pricing the charged me for more. So adding a 3^rd person without asking me, then going at a snails pace to move was unacceptable.
Not to mention the damage. 3 pictures of my were destroyed. Did they mention it … No. I found it the next day.
Also my bed was damaged. There was a white paint mark and a dent — when I asked the movers about it they said «maybe it was there before». My bed was only two months old, and was never moved except by them. I asked them about the insurance coverage they provide and they indicated I should call the owner and he will handle it.
I did, and left several text messages but never heard back from them once they got my cash.
I will NEVER do business with them again. If other movers seem more expensive –pay it. This place ended up costing me more than two men and a truck. Not to mention the damaged items. STAY AWAY.
