History

Established in 2012.

I started private practice in 1993 at Capitol Hill Neighborhood Acupuncture. In 2009 we had to close because the building was sold. After working at Rainy City Midwifery for a couple of years, then Central Physical Therapy for a year, I was able to open a new, improved Neighborhood Acupuncture this last spring, halfway between Ballard and Fremont

Meet the Business Owner

Chris H.

Business Owner

I have been in private acupuncture practice since 1993. I graduated from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM) in 1992 and studied in PRChina from 1992 to 1993 at the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hongzhou. In 1996 I studied pediatric acupuncture with Julian Scott and Teresa Barlow and together we opened Seattle Pediatric Acupuncture in Ballard in 1997.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy performing British Panto with the Fremont Players, and creating performances with my comrades in Big Boys with Poise (as seen on TV).
