AWE Studio is a small art studio providing art instruction to students of all ages. Drawing in charcoal, pastel, graphite and painting in watercolor, acrylic, oil and pastel are some of the art techniques offered. Classes are limited to small numbers (8 or less) and private sessions are also available. Everyone will discover their artistic abilities at AWE Studio, where the motto truly is «Art With Everyone!»

History

Established in 2007.

Janet Lia began teaching in her studio after working as an art instructor in schools for over 20 years. Janet has also over 15 years experience as a teacher trainer for art integrated curricula.

Janet’s gift for inspiring confidence in students of all levels of artistic talents has fostered many people to pursue their training at AWE Studio and going on to take further education in visual arts.

Business Owner

Janet has over 25 years art teaching experience in public and private elementary, middle and high schools, and as a teacher trainer since 1995. She has been a full time studio artist in her studio, AWE Studio since 2007, where working with all ages and art skill levels to create beautiful art has been her passion.

Janet has attained a B.A. in Education and Washington State teaching credentials (K-​12; endorsements in Visual Arts and Agriculture), Waldorf teaching certificate followed by two year Arts Program focusing on fine arts and Figure and Portrait Art Certificate from the University of Washington.

Janet’s art is held in private collections in the U.S. and several foreign countries.
