AW Seattle Towncar Service

Got a reasonable rate to take my family to the airport, when asked on the phone if I get a better rate (there are better ones out there), the dispatcher got mad and started arguing that his rate was the best. I should have looked elsewhere, but had limited time and booked it anyways.
Driver arrives late and looked very angry and frustrated while loading my family into the car. I understand if he was having a bad day, but I do expect him to be more professional.
When trying to book the same car again for my return trip, the dispatcher hiked up my rate and demanded a 20% gratuity. I then decided to go elsewhere and got a much better deal using Shuttle Express.

TL;DR; Unreliable service, disrespectful dispatcher, left stranded at airport with infant.
Before I booked a ride from Seatac airport for an international flight arriving at 7:30pm, I made sure to ask them about their waiting policy and made sure to tell them that I have a lot of luggages and an infant and that I would need a car seat. Everything sounded great so I confirmed the booking with them. I also made sure to ask them what exactly I need to do when I arrive and Boris’ exact answer was :“After collecting your bags from baggage claim, step outside through the doors and call XXXXXXX and let the dispatcher know what door you walked out from.“
On that day, the plane arrived a little early (7:10pm). Just like everyone else, we went through passport check, internal baggage claim, and (unfortunately) secondary luggage x-​ray screen. The whole process took a little longer than I expected but should still be ok since plane arrived 20min EARLY. Because we were in the security area, I was not able to get my phone from my bag to make/​answer calls. After going through security at 8:07pm (note: only 37min after original landing time) BEFORE boarding the tram and BEFORE picking up luggage at baggage claim, (contrary to what Boris told me to do) I IMMEDIATELY gave the dispatcher a call to make sure they know we are coming.
As soon as the dispatcher picked up, he kept yelling at me non-​stop, asking me why I didn’t pick up the phone or call them earlier. I tried to explain to him that I was in the security area and it was not possible for me to do that and that I immediately called him once I was able to. He kept talking over me and yelling at me. The dispatcher said I no longer have the car because it was booked for something else (note that it’s only 40min after the original landing time, which means it’s impossible that the car was booked for something else since my home was 40min away from airport). I asked for his name on multiple occasion but he refused to give it to me so then I asked if he had a manager. He kept saying he _​was_​the manager. So then I asked if there is a higher up manager I can talk to, then he hung up on me.
Now I’m stranded at airport with a hungry infant WITHOUT car seat, with no way to go home.

Not recommended. I am currently stranded at seatac. Why is that? Please allow me to tell you my tale.
Five days ago I made reservations with AW Seattle to pick me up at 11:30 pm at the airport. After my flight arrived on time, I called them from the designated pick up area. The person that answered the phone told me, in a barely understandable accent, that my reservation had been canceled earlier that day. What? How is that possible? I asked if the person that canceled gave my last name and/​or phone number. He kept insisting it had been canceled. Not by me I replied.
At this point I had an hour to catch the last ferry of the day. The 1a.m. Mukilteo ferry. The individual on the phone said it would be 25 minutes to pick me up. Simple math indicated I would not make the ferry on time.
I have called all the hotels in the area and they are all at capacity. So here I sit. I believe AW Seattle proactively canceled my reservation. Why would they do that? I’m not sure. But how else could a random person, not knowing my schedule, or last name, or phone number cancel my reservation? It defies reason.
This review is a real life experience with AW Seattle. Don’t be fooled by their website reviews. Use at your own risk.

I use this company for my business trips
And I am very satisfied with the service the drivers are nice and polite they are always on time and get me to the airport on time even when there’s traffic.

I’ve used AW on and off for several years for the occasional airport trip, however, my most recent experience with them left me feeling bamboozled, which is never a good feeling for a customer. Upon making arrangements, we agreed that I would call when I arrived in Seattle. The driver Boris made it very clear that I may have to wait up to 30 minutes for him to get to me since my window of arrival was not firm. I have 3 adult witnesses who heard this entire exchange who can validate the details. Upon arrival, I received a phone call at 7:30am with Boris «yelling» at me, asking why I did not call him. I told him that since my boat docking time was not until 9:30am, I had not called him yet. He made it very clear that he was not happy, so I knew that I would be in for a lovely ride home after our family vacation. After waiting for him for over an hour to pick us up, after he dropped us off at home he informed me that he would charge an extra $ 50 for the waiting time. I told him that I was not informed of this policy, and had I known, I would have gladly taken a taxi. He became extremely aggressive with me, made it very clear that we would not do business again, and sped off out of my driveway.
Look, I understand that time is money. And had I asked him to arrive at 7:30 and wait for us to get off the ship, I would be willing to pay for that service. But plain and simple, that was not our arrangement, and he took an interesting route with a long-​time customer to resolve the situation. I would absolutely not recommend AW to anyone, there are plenty of others out there you can use.

Been using these guys for a couple of years now when business calls me to the Bellevue area. Always prompt and courteous.

AW Seattle Towncar is the best Towncar service I have ever used. They are reliable, very reasonably priced and have exceptional customer service. I would recommend AW Seattle Towncar to anyone that is looking for exceptional Towncar service at a good price!

I have never written a review before, but I am very dissatisfied with my experience with AW Seattle Towncar.
I booked the towncar service through Microsoft Prime for a trip to the airport for a flight. My flight was cancelled, so I called them immediately to cancel the trip. This was 20 minutes before pick up time, and they stilled charged me $ 40, because according to him I had to cancel my trip 3hrs beforehand and the driver is already waiting at my house. My issue is:
* I don’t see a cancellation policy on their website. That should be made perfectly clear if you are going to charge a crazy price for cancellation. I would have stuck with a taxi if I had known beforehand…
* It is not my fault their driver’s arrive so early
* I never received a service
* And again, $ 40 is an insanely high charge
If they had charged me a reasonable fee, I would have understood and been a returning customer, but this falls into the unfair category.

This place is on top of it when you need to travel in style.
I am also forever grateful for the impeccable service around Christmas of last year, when the entire town was shut down due to snow conditions and no cabs would dare to get me to the airport. I can depend on AW Towncar Service for all my transportation needs.
