I fell in love with Aveda products after getting the Aveda facial, I had also got hair styling done for my anniversary in an Aveda salon in Minneapolis in 2013 but only after the facial I thought about trying out Aveda products and when you come to the Aveda store in Pacific Place Seattle it really helps you get a clear idea about what you need. Cassie(the Aveda advisor here) is a doll, she’s sweet and helps you with all your queries, I try going here only when she is there. This store makes the buying process easy, they are super helpful with exchanges as well. This store has made me fall in love with the Aveda tea, can’t wait to buy it.

***This Review is for the Aveda School in Seattle***, Capitol Hill: Depending on who you get is how your hair turns out. I told this one girl to make my highlighted hair shine & she turned my hair from blonde to jet black without telling me. It took me a whole day at an overpriced place to fix it. Also The front counter cashier guy ‘lost’ my credit card & I lost my favorite Designer brand Jacket there. It was one of a kind, So if you go there, watch your stuff, because it might get lost or stolen…

Became a loyal Aveda customer after my friend bought me some Confixor for my birthday. It is the perfect product for my curly hair and I haven’t used anything else for years. Came back a little while ago because I wanted to up my Curly Hair Game — sometimes my curls loosen up after a long day. Asked for recommendations on how to hold the curls better, and I was told I needed an additional FOUR products to get«what I wanted». I basically told them I was too low maintenance for that kind of daily routine, so I bought one of the recommended products and called it good. The staff was really friendly anyway, which I appreciated. Like many other stores, the staff can be a little«salesy» but it’s not overwhelming. They don’t seem to oversell or hard sell and the people I interacted with were respectful of my time and space and preferences and they were all fun and easygoing. The prices of Aveda products are basically what keeps me from becoming a more loyal customer — sometimes I don’t want to spend $ 100+ on «a couple things». But I use everything I’ve purchased there and would recommend people check it out. I love the way their stuff smells and always get compliments because of that. Also, they’re really good about interacting with your hair and skin, if that makes sense. one time I went for a free facial. Last time I was there I got a scalp assessment. I know that part of the reason why they do this is to upsell products, but I won’t turn down somebody who wants to play with my hair :)

I love Aveda. Their products are fabulous… it’s aromatherapy every day in my shower! The salesgirls are friendly and nice, too.

My wife got the stone fusion massage here about a year after I bought her a coupon. It was everything she could have asked for… very relaxing and therapeutic to have the warm stones next to the skin. I’ve supported Aveda for years because of their commitment to providing high quality products and respect for the environment as well. Some of the products are expensive, but, everything is worthwhile here. You might not find some of the other qualities of other spas in Seattle(like a vapor room for before and after a spa experience) according to my wife. But, it was a massage that my wife did not want to end. So, really what more can you ask for? I support these guys…

Aveda products hands down are high quality. The prices are on the higher side; however, you are paying for not only quality products but a company who supports the environment, communities in which they do business and stands behind their products. The staff is friendly and is quick to offer a welcome cup of tea. If you have never tried Aveda products, I encourage you to give them a try. On some items, they even offer small sample sizes which is always an added plus.

Friendly and helpful staff! I wish every Aveda would model after this one. I guess I’ve been conditioned to be slightly fearful of walking into an Aveda because many of the employees I’ve encountered in other locations seem a bit pretentious. Not in this location! I interacted with a few employees and they went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. Day one, I got a candle. But found I didn’t need it by day two. Day two, I returned the candle. No problems, no smirks. What a relief to not be judged if you don’t keep your original purchase. Whew. Thanks Aveda staff for being friendly! Wish all customer service was like what you showed me. Good luck with your remodeling!

I needed some lipstick and concealer and Nicole at the Pacific Place Aveda Store was extremely helpful at choosing the right colors and showing me how to apply them correctly. Nicole gets 5 stars for being down-to-earth friendly and very knowledgeable and the products work well and smell good. Only one word of caution: Aveda does not only use«natural» ingredients. There’s some chemistry involved which is not evident in how they brand their products. Be aware if you’re allergic to that(the chemistry or the branding :-)).

I have been using some fancy Lancome tinted Moisturizer but it cost almost 50 bucks. I knew I liked some Aveda stuff so I decided to stop in. The girl just walked up and started putting stuff on my face. I didn’t feel invaded or anything, She was super nice and easy going and she knew her stuff. I bought the tinted moisturizer she picked out for me, some eyeliner and mascara. I felt comfortable and informed. I’ll be back when I run out!

I have been using Aveda’s Shampure shampoo and conditioner for a couple of years now, and I just love it. It smells amazing,(seriously, I always get complimented on how nice my hair smells) it makes my hair look/feel good, and this particular Aveda is usually the one I go to to get my big-ass containers of shampoo and conditioner when I’m running low. Aveda makes excellent products and though they are a little pricey for someone like me(aka – someone who isn’t ballin’ out of control), I love it and use it anyway. I have an aveda card that accumulates points for all my purchases, which you should get if you go there regularly. It’s $ 10 for a lifetime membership and the points can be redeemed for products and Aveda salon/spa gift certificates. Rad! The employees of this Aveda are very pleasant, friendly, and most of them are down to earth and seem to understand the delicate customer service balance of being present to offer assistance while not being overbearing or pushy about sales. They brew their special Aveda blend of tea(like at all other Aveda stores) and pass it out, which I also love. I buy the tea sometimes as a special treat because it’s delicious! I work within a 3 block radius of 2 other Aveda stores/spas, and could buy their products there, but I always choose to go to this Aveda.

I love this place! They gave me fee samples and tea. Sheena gave me a free consolation, just ask for one, and she also gave me a job application to consider. The place smells super nice, they give you a makeup map which directs you to better way of making your face glow. Also, since I’m going to 3 proms, they said that I could call and make an appointment and I could get my make up done for free! Sadly, they don’t give discounts.

Usually I avoid going into Aveda(and L’Occitane right next door for that matter) because I just want to shop and look and ask questions if I have them. I really dislike being approached right when I walk in. Today I wasn’t bothered at all except for a «let me know if you have questions», which was really nice. I did have one question and I got a bit too much of an answer about hair care products, but she was SO nice so it was alright. Going into an Aveda store is worth it for the scent and free little cup of tea alone. This one is probably one of the better ones out there. I do miss the little sample sizes. I didn’t see any here.

It’s just an Aveda store not a spa/salon. I love this little store I walk in and am greeting with warm tea and a smile. I can’t live without their hand and food relief and this is where I buy it. The sales staff is always friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs even during the mad Christmas rush they never seem annoyed or frustrated with the many people in the tiny store milling around asking question after question about their products.
