Established in 2008.

After practicing for nine years in Normandy Park, Dr. Larhs opened her own practice Downtown Seattle in December of 2008.

Business Owner

Dr. Larhs graduated with honors from the University of Toronto School of Dentistry in 2000. After completing a two year clinical attending position at the University of Washington, Dr. Larhs moved into private practice.

Each year, Dr. Larhs furthers her education by receiving advanced training in various aspects of dentistry including endodontics, both the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry and cosmetic/​restorative dentistry.

I’ve been going here for a few years now. Had my wisdom teeth removed here and get other routine work done here as well. As weird as this sounds I actually enjoy going to the dentist, which wasn’t always the case. Dr. Larhs and staff are very friendly and genuinely care about their patients.

As a new patient of Dr. Larhs, I enthusiastically add my voice to those saying this office is the best experience in dental care I have yet had.
I have never felt so genuinely welcomed in any medical office. I was amazed at the kind and professional demeanors of everyone I interacted with, and I truly appreciated the time and care that was taken to help me understand every aspect of their assessment.
A special thanks to Beth for gentle dexterity in cleaning my teeth while making me feel at ease with charming anecdotes and giving moments of rest from the scraping for me to chime in. It made the whole experience very personable.
Dr. Larhs is immediately recognizable as a knowledgeable and professional, yet she is in no rush and takes time to be accessible and treat people like they matter.
Also, this may seem like a little thing, but my name is not pronounced the normal American way, but the Russian way. Of the 5 people who I interacted with, they all got it right the first time without me having to correct them. That means that the person who scheduled me over the phone took care to make sure that everyone knew how to pronounce my name before I arrived. That is really special, and clinched their earning my loyalty.
I strongly advise ignoring the grouchy one star reviews with bad rationale. These folks deserve their patients’ trust.

I have been seeing Dr. Larhs for about 4 years and have had the best experience. I have referred many people to her, all of which have had great experiences as well. I always feel at ease in Dr. Larhs’ hands, and feel that she genuinely cares about me and my dental health. Dr/​Larhs’ staff is equally as amazing. My experiences have always been pretty comfortable, which is not something easily said about visiting the dentist. I highly recommend!

Upon my first visit I received a full evaluation of my dental health. Having knowledge of problem areas and methods to remediate has motivated me to proactively modify my dental hygiene habits. Just had my first cleaning. It was unmistakably the most pleasant dental experience I’ve ever had. Definitely recommended.

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Larhs, but already hands down the best dentist I have ever had. She was able to fit me in for emergency wisdom tooth extractions about a month ago and I was a little nervous. But I amazed on how quick and painless the whole procedure was! I have since had other procedures done at her office and all of her staff are kind, knowledgeable, and professional.
They do all they can to put you at ease during your procedures by offering pillows and blankets etc. But for me the best part was every time I visit they take the time to explain to me what they are doing, and why I need to be doing certain things (…cough…flossing more… cough…). We have all been to dentist that give you the same lecture after a check up or cleaning («brush and and floss.»), but here they will actually go over your x-​rays and photos with you. That really resonates with me.
This is seriously the best dentist I have ever gone to and I could ramble on forever about all of the positive things I have to say about this place.

So wonderful!
I have been more than pleased with everything about my visits to this office.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Everyone I’ve worked with was absolutely genuine, comforting, supportive, and realistic. I feel they always have my best interest in mind and are honest. Dr. Lahrs makes an effort to spend quality time with everyone and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
Outside of the people, the office environment is great and schedules are always adhered to, without ever feeling rushed.

my one and only crown came off on an airplane, and i contacted a few dentists in my destination city seattle, by writing emails via Unilocal.i did this to ensure that at least one of them would get back to me, given that Unilocal told me with more than one office, that the current time to get a reply via email was 3 – 4 business days.
while i didn’t become a customer simply because this office didn’t have an availability that same day, i wanted to acknowledge andrea (from the office — or was it «the» dr. andrea larhs?) who promptly called and left a message to give me options, including visiting the local dental school. this speaks loudly for this office. they weren’t out to make a profit, they simply provided assistanc to see how i could best helped with my situation.

Good spacious clinic, with good modern facilities. But this place is very expensive, even with insurance there was a $ 100 difference per filling. Very expensive for normal work.

I was going to do this last year. I am not a dental superhero! Dr. Larhs never judged how me on how much I needed to get the work done. She worked within my plan coverage and time frame. I love going into that office. It’s like they say in the the song on Cheers back in the day. Where everybody knows my name, her staff are of the utmost respectable and professional people, I have seen in a dental office. I have people ask me all the time, what a great smile you have. It was years I did not show my teeth. I smile all the time now.
And yes you will need a full set of x rays, then a consultation. Don’t expect work on your first visit unless you have an emergency. They are very detailed, but I have not had x rays again and it’s been over a couple of years. The build up a plan specific to your needs. I would recommend Dr. Larhs and staff to EVERYONE.

I could not recommend Dr. Larhs and her team more highly! Professional, wonderful customer service, and clearly experienced — this office is phenomenal. They always go the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable and take the time to fully explain procedures and options. I think another review nailed it when they described Dr. Larhs’ office as the «Nordstroms» experience in dentistry. I have no anxiety about the dentist knowing that I’ll be in great hands when it comes to this office!

So as I have previously mentioned, I am a huge dentist phobe. Ridiculously so. Turned out that a tooth that had a root canal in it has to be pulled. I have been so upset over the whole thing sic I am obsessive/​compulsive about my teeth. Dr. Lahrhs took me through the entire process, the cost, the plan for what needs to be done, and how this would work. Wendy was calm, cool, and collected. Both of them were relaxed and made it so that although I am upset about losing a tooth (after all of these years of taking care of my teeth) it is great to have a dentist who really has compassion. I am beyond impressed here.

Went for my first appointment, got way too many x-​rays and pictures taken than necessary, was there well over an hour, and I left without them even doing a basic cleaning. They recommended way more things than I feel I need for cosmetic reasons, which is not what I am looking for in a dentist. I have no major problems with my teeth, it was supposed to be a basic check-​up/​cleaning appointment, and they made me feel horrible about my teeth. Suffice to say, I will not be returning.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for Dr. Larhs for several months now. The sheer fact that I’m revisiting my time there so long after my experience is the best testament to how positive it was.
I’ve never had such a comprehensive dental visit in my life. The first person I met, my dental hygienist, informed me more about my teeth than any dentist I’ve ever had. She took measurements of my gum recession (on each tooth, front and back!), levels of plaque buildup, and wear on the chewing surfaces of my teeth, ALL BEFORE I EVEN SAW DR. LARHS! Then, when Dr. Larhs came to visit me, she was so thorough and clear in her assessment of my teeth that I was left really feeling confident about how to move forward. I have to tell you, I’m a bad flosser, it doesn’t seem to matter what dentists tell me, but since this visit with Dr. Larhs nearly 5 months ago, I’ve flossed every night as she instructed. I also bought a sonicare toothbrush and sleep with a night guard. I’m a changed man!
The most impressive thing about Dr. Larhs office was how everyone in it really seemed to be united in her philosophy of tooth care. They weren’t just knowledgeable, they took their time and shared information well. I’m on a tour of the country, so I don’t actually live in Seattle, but I wish I lived there so that this could be my routine dentist’s office.. .. Is it weird to move somewhere because you like the dentist?

If Unilocal had ten stars I would select 10 for Dr. Larhs and her team. Wow doesn’t even begin to say how phenomenal she is. Based on other Unilocalers’ reviews I found her (and Seatte Met Best dentists 2013 article). I was able to get in right away when I mentioned that I had some pain in a tooth. I am a big dentist phobe. Yet Dr. Larhs talked with me FIRST in a conference room to get my medical history, etc. Then she and her assistant (K — amazing!) took digital X-​rays, showed them to me, explained what would be needed, etc.
The service, the professionalism, the kindness, and the friendliness in this office cannot be matched. If you are looking for above and beyond EXCELLENT care this is the place to go. As a matter of fact, Dr. Larhs called me the next day to follow-​up and see how I was feeling. Impressive.

Ok, this is so damn weird because this happened twice in a two week period and that is my crown came out twice (from a previous dentist) every week I called her personal phone number and Dr. Larhs called me back within minutes.
She then made time for me to see her during the next available appointment. So, if you need a great dentist, see Dr. Larhs, if you are afraid of dentists (like I am) see her, if you are thinking about a new dentist… see her.

Dr. Larhs and team are absolutely fabulous. If you are looking for a new dentist in downtown Seattle, you should stop looking. This office is like the Nordstrom of dentist offices in regards to customer service, experience, and quality.
This is an all women office, and they are all so nice and friendly. Also, their hours are great for the average 9 – 5’er. They are open real early mornings, and late afternoons (after 5 appts.) What more could you ask for? Absolutely, awesome! I have recommended many of my co-​workers already.
Dr. Larhs is very professionaly, friendly, and honest. She is VERY good at what she does. Also, the office is honest in recommending treatment, not like other offices trying to sell you different products. This place is awesome!
