My first RC and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Very caring staff and during the procedure asked how I was doing. This was good since I always seem to need a little bit more novacane and I did once they were deep down in the tooth. A touch more and everything was great! The post X ray looked like a piece of dental art :) Highly recommended!

If I could give Dr. Aminian and her team 6 stars, I would. I woke up last night with an agonizing tooth ache, and called their office in tears at 7am asking if they would see me. They saw me immediately, working me in between their regularly scheduled patients, and did the root canal right then and there, so I was out of pain and out the door by 9:30. I often have panic attacks at the dentist, and novocaine wears off extremely quickly for me (within 20 minutes), so to say that this root canal should have been a nightmare scenario is an understatement. But Dr. Aminian and her staff were so genuinely kind, caring, and competent, that I didn’t panic once despite the ordeal. They’re simply fabulous — can’t recommend them enough.

OK, so don’t laugh but I’ve had not one, not two, but THREE root canals by this wonderful endodontist. Today was the third, and it wasn’t easy for me. I had a full blown panic attack before and during, and Dr. Aminian and her crew were SO gentle, and SO kind, and SO patient, I actually survived it. In addition, her desk staff went out of their way to make sure that my insurance was in place before I sat in the chair.
The waiting area, the smell of coffee, the glass art selection, and the nice selection of juices and waters are appreciated. While she doesn’t use nitrous oxide, you can distract yourself by listening with headphones and watching the TV installed on the ceiling! Every time I’ve been there, the music selection has been great. Today it was classical Spanish guitar, salsa, tango and that helped me visualize all my previous trips to Spain and Mexico which helped with my anxiety a lot. Even without the nitrous, I can’t imagine going any place else for this type of work. Be sure, if you are anxious like me, to request anti-​anxiety medication beforehand and she will give you a prescription. I just forgot this time!

I’ve never had a root canal before and not only was I in pain, I was of course extremely nervous. Dr. Aminian’s office staff are very patient and efficient. I was seen quickly, and can honestly say I had no pain during the procedure. If they had thrown in a foot massage it would have been as relaxing as a day at the spa. Her work was excellent, too.

Had to get a root canal for a tooth and was happy to hear that I had an endodontist so close to where I live.
The receptionists are very friendly and answer any questions you may have. The waiting area is small but nice with a great selection of coffee, juice, and water for the loved ones that get stuck waiting for you while you have your mouth drilled.
Dr. Aminian was very nice and from what I can tell, did a good job.
Everything seemed to move very fast, I was in and out for my check up appointment. When I got the root canal done it was also very fast, other than the time it takes to do the procedure there was no frills and thrills. This can be good for someone that just wants it to be over with, but I would have preferred them to slow down and give more explanation and background to everything. They just got me in the chair and kind of went to work. They were very nice, though.
As someone who is suspicious that my dentist botched my tooth (didn’t have ANY pain until immediately after my dentist ‘fixed a cavity’ and then had pain for the rest of the year), I wish my concerns were taken more seriously when I brought it up. I was just given the answer, «Oh we can’t know because we don’t know what the cavity was like before» and a bit brushed off… but couldn’t we just call and ask for the xrays from my dentist? I guess I understand that an endodontist wouldn’t want to risk getting into any legal argument (and the fact that most of their business probably comes from botched dental work), but root canals are pricey and I’m a poor college student. Even if it was all a lie it would have been nice to get some kind of confirmation that it wasn’t my dentist’s fault to put my mind at ease that I’m dishing out $ 1650 for a tooth that I potentially wouldn’t have had a problem with.
Giving them a 4 star because the job is done and the staff was nice.
