Our complete locksmith services include everything from duplicate keys, safe sales, contemporary to antique lock repair and replacement and service to new high security key systems. Business Owner

Accurate Safe and Lock was established in Seattle in 1952 by Boyd Murphy, or as everyone knew him, «Murp.» When Murp retired he sold the business to Al Bergman, who in turn sold it to Russell Willis. In 1998 Murp’s niece Yvonne Murphy Barbour brought the business back into the family. When Yvonne was in high school she would cut keys for her uncle so that he could run service calls. He taught her how to rekey locks and do other miscellaneous lock work. When she later married a locksmith, they bought the business because it had maintained its integrity and great reputation. Yvonne is now the sole owner and maintains the businesses’ excellent name and standing. She prides herself on her dedication to her customer’s safety and security. Accurate Safe & Lock is now located on West Roy in Queen Anne. Feel free to stop by, Yvonne always makes time to chat with her customers.

Great service. I came in here to have several sets of keys made, they were able to do it on-​the-​spot in less than 5 minutes. They charge about $ 2.50 per key, and a credit card fee if your total is less than $ 10 bucks. Luckily there’s a Bank of America ATM and BECU ATM about a block away (and free Customer parking there at BoA if you’re struggling to find street parking). The only downside is that they’re closed on weekends, making errand-​running a bit difficult.

We had a deadbolt that was stuck in the locked position on our upper balcony door. I called Accurate Safe & Lock at 9:30am and they had someone in and out of the house with the lock fixed by 10:05am. Amazing! The service was professional, quick and easy. I will certainly use them again in the future.

They’ve done an awesome job copying keys super quickly for me for years. I also just found out that they can fix broken keys! That would have been a lifesaver had I not gotten so lucky. Long story short, my only key to my boat broke, but my friend’s mail key started her right up. Now, all my boat key copies also have the dual function of opening her mailbox :)

I lost both my electric bike keys (which were tied together because I’m an idiot) and no bike shop would help me unlock my bike or replace the ignition. I spent 3 weeks hopelessly searching for keys and ordering replacement parts only to find that you can’t replace parts while everything is locked to your bike. I even bought a lock picking kit. Everywhere I went they said «we can’t fix this».
Fast forward 20 minutes in this shop– the lovely couple worked their magic instead of turning me away. This was such probably such a hassle– I’m an idiot with a bike in a lock shop… but they picked the lock and replaced both locks and even the ignition of a bike that no one knew how to do. The man even adjusted my bike seat for me!
They charged me an insanely fair price (I tried to tip them and they declined). Its like this place is the perfect storm– an amazing mechanic and a locksmith who can most likely pick and install anything.

Not sure who the young man was that helped us. Long story short we got locked out of our business and we called this place first. They were very prompt and knowledgeable and had a sense of humor.

Amazing customer service, a fair price & a friendly/​knowledgeable staff. What more could you ask for?!
I had a tenant lose their keys. They were leaving town & were concerned about the security of their apartment. Easy enough to fix. Just re-​key the locks right? Here’s the reason for the five stars. We had to have the locks taken care of by 9:30 am today. Well I’m an idiot. I thought they opened at 7am. So I arrive at their location at 7:30 only to discover they don’t open until 8:30. I see someone inside & figure what the heck, it doesn’t hurt to ask, so I knock. Yvonne opens up the door. She is super friendly, listens to my sad story and is more than willing to help. I leave my locks and phone number and she calls me back in less than an hour to let me know the locks are finished! So basically if I could have gotten my happy a** back there in 10 minutes I could have picked up my re-​keyed locks BEFORE they opened? To top it off the price was very reasonable. I had three locks re-​keyed to match so the tenant only needs one key for all of them and had it matched to our master plus three copies of the new key all for under $ 70 when I would have gladly paid $ 100.
If you need any sort of locksmith service come here! They are willing to go above and beyond for their customers!

Everyone I dealt with here was friendly and professional. I needed a key duplicate for my Thule box on the car. I went to several other key places that said they either couldn’t’ make it or would have to order a key blank from the manufacture that would take a week or two and cost $$.
The staff here knew just what was needed, duplicated the key in a few minutes, and had me out the door for a normal key cutting cost. The key works better than the original that came with the Thule box. I hope I never get locked out, but if I do, I’m calling these guys and definitely going to see them for future keys. They just do a good job for a good price with friendly service.

I unfortunately lock myself out of my apartment more often than I care to admit. I have used quite a few locksmiths, but this company was the best! They met me at my apartment so quickly that I barely made it down to meet them in time, and he got my door open in a snap — and without having to use a drill (that’s a first)! As an added bonus, the gentleman that came out to help was really friendly and kind. I will for sure be calling them next time.

I picked up the key to my bedroom door and fortunately, after looking a bit more thoroughly in the back stock room, the man that helped me before found an already carved key to my bedroom door! I only paid $ 2.25 with tax for a copy of my skeleton key. I would give this place five stars except he forgot to call me when he told me he would, and I waited seven days to call him b/​c I thought he’d be busy hand carving my key.
