Fried chicken that puts the colonel and other local faves to shame.
The couple that owns the deli also sells fresh black angus beef and homemade sausages like hot links, a fatty «cham» sausage, homemade beef bacon and other prepared meats.
It’s a busy spot so call ahead or be prepared to be disappointed because they’re sold out. I’ve forgotten to do that a couple of times and paid the price with an unfulfilled desire. Sigh.
I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the place never has enough meats to satisfy this carnivore.
