My husband has had chronic migraines since he was 7. So when they hit really bad for 2 weeks we needed a new solution. The top migraine specialist in town didn’t listen to him and wanted him on meds that made him sick. 15 minutes before a cat scan my husband calls in a panic because he doesn’t want to go through with all the testing again at a traditional medicine place… But he found a Chiropractor named Dr. Hunter Hoats that he wanted to try.
I told him to go and Dr. Hoats took such great care of him that this skeptic (me) even went in. My husbands head aches weren’t cured, but became manageable with the doctors help and my scoliosis spine didn’t bother me any more either.
Not only that but they have a team of fabulous massage therapists with extensive training to supplement the chiropractic care. I just had my first prenatal massage there and can not brag enough about how awesome they are.

I went to Dr. Shotwell for years before Hoats bought the practice. When patients called Dr. Shotwell for appointments, Dee (Hoats’ wife) never mentioned that Shotwell was gone. She simply booked patients with her husband. Once patients arrived at the clinic, she told them that they’d be seeing someone new. I saw several patients who were quite surprised. Here’s what she didn’t tell the patients: the Hoats would be billing those patients as NEW.
Furthermore, his adjustments were incredibly ineffective.
Oh, and he’s incredibly rude and conceited. I am a middle aged woman and do not want to be called «kiddo» by a chiropractor.
I’ll never go back.

And it’s not just me, I witnessed another patient genuinely thanking Dr. Hoats for treating him, relieving his pain, etc. It was really very touching.
