Americas Best Value Airport Inn

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Little ants crawling everywhere! Their continental breakfast consist of refrigerated muffins and coffee with powdered creamer. Water in the shower was so gosh awful hot I could barely stand it. My door didn’t latch all the way so I never needed the key to get into my room. Neighbors were playing loud music all night and nothing was done when I called the front desk to complain. All in all a terrible hotel. Spend a little more money and stay else where.

We needed a week stay and hey $ 325 for 2 beds for 7 days sounded good to me. The rooms were decent and everything pretty clean. BUT…
–the WiFi was horrible
–receptionist was rude
–there was never parking after 5pm
–the shuttle staff were snobby looking when you smiled at them
–AND we were told check out would be on a Friday, we woke up early Thursday morning and left. Came back later that evening and our key didn’t work. I went to the office and they said check out was today and you owe us $ 70, and if you leave without paying we will be forced to call the police, mind you have my little children with me and I expressed that I had my babys funeral the following day and he shrugged his shoulders and was like it is what it is. I let him know that we confirmed that check out was friday! He called his supervisor and I asked to speak with her and he said no I can’t do that and to top it off he spoke to her in Spanish the entire time so who knows what he actually told her. Anyways the supervisor didnt care either. I wrote a complaint to the owner and never heard a thing back. The little boy at the desk said it was family owned and clearly the family could care less about customer service. I had to pay $ 70 for their miscommunication error or else I would’ve gone to jail with my kids. If the receptionist was more professional about the whole thing I most likely wouldn’t have been so upset! If this wasn’t so upsetting I’d give a 3 star!
*that whole you get what you pay for, is crap! Just because you get a deal doesn’t mean that you should be treated so poorly. I’m pretty sure theirs 100’s out their who have had the same horrible experience and they just didn’t write about it!
Anyways NEVER again! After my complaint I was expecting a response, a money back offer or something. LOL yes nothing. And this was just 12÷09÷15 this all happened!
***not that I will need a room anytime soon but if I did, this will not be a place that will cross my mind!!¡!

This review is only about the airport parking. I have used this place many times when I travel. I book on-​line for $ 5 day, which is well under what other places charge. After paying the bill, I park my car. I prefer to do this (instead of valet option) to make sure it is in a spot that won’t get blocked and is under a light. Once parked I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride to the airport. Upon return I typically need to wait about 10 — 15 minutes after calling to be picked up. They would get 5 stars if that was quicker but I understand that the motel location is a few miles away and takes time to negotiate airport traffic (especially true if they just left with a full van and need to drop them off and come back). For the price and ease of use I never hesitate to use them.

Worst airport parking lot EVER! Was told I would be picked up in 15 mins, waited over an hour. I will be filing a complaint & I expect my money back for this poor service.

The attendant was rude to us upon our arrival to drop off our car and we were made to wait over 35 minutes for our shuttle and we very nearly missed our flight because of it.
When we returned from our trip, we called ahead upon landing and again when we arrived at the shuttle pick up location. We were made to wait over 30 minutes for our shuttle and when it did arrive, they almost didn’t have room for us even though we had called ahead and let them know we were waiting and that there were two of us.
There was a different attendant who was even more rude to us than the first one when we returned to the lot. We paid for valet parking and we were instead handed our key and told to find our car in the parking lot behind the office.
We walked around for well over 15 minutes in the dark with our luggage trying to find our car when we had to ask for help finding it because it was on the other side of the secured gate. Hence, it was not locked inside the gate where it was supposed to be. When we did locate our car, it was blocked in by another car. The attendant was unable to locate the keys to the car blocking us in and we waited again for well over half an hour for them to attempt to locate the keys to the other car. They were not able to locate the keys and instead opted to move three other cars and have us try to squeeze out of the parking lot by backing up and pulling forward several times.
Luckily, we were successful or we would have been waiting for a tow truck to move the car in front of ours.
We will never park at Americas Best Value Airport Inn again.
We do not recommend them at all and will be asking for a full refund of our fees due to the poor treatment we received.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I was denied getting a room due to not having the extra $ 150 for incidentals. The night auditer was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met working in the customer service industry. When I told him I was going to get in touch with
before I left he then told me to F*** off and to get the F*** and proceeded to talk extremely loud making it hard for me to hear the person on
plus whenever they called the hotel he was extremely rude to them also. Oh and one more thing, not sure if the little bugs I saw crawling out of the a/​c in the lobby and crawling around the computer keyboard were ants or cockroaches but probably little bugs u don’t want in your room. SERIOUSLY
and anyone else who represents this hotel should pull out from doing so.
AGAIN ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL IVE EVER BEEN TOO IN WA!

I wanted to take the time to post a positive review of America’s Best Value Inn in Seatac, since it seems everyone wants to complain about them. My review has nothing to do with the rooms, as I just booked them for the shuttle service to the airport.
We needed to drive and park at Seatac because our flight to Mexico was leaving at 5:15am! Plus they offered a shuttle service to the airport. When we get there there is nobody there to drive us, and the sign says wait for attendant to park your car. There was nobody to do that either so we just parked the car ourselves. No big deal. The guy is out on a shuttle run and does get back soon, but has to check people in and informs us that there is going to be a 30 minute wait. Well we can’t do that because we will miss our flight. I thought about docking them one star for this but seriously? It was 3:45, and this place is the cheapest place to park in SeaTac. I really don’t fault them for having minimal staffing at that hour. They offered us a discount on our parking and we just used Über. Problem solved. The discount in parking basically paid for the Über.
Fast forward to our return and I have this sinking feeling that my car might not have been parked in the best place. The lot is kind of sketchy looking, but is fenced with motion lights.
Well when I get to my car sure enough one of the windows was smashed (same with the car next to me) and my glove box and trunk were gone through. The only thing taken was a new Seahawks sweatshirt since that’s all that was in there.
This situation would be frustrating for anyone, but it was compounded by the fact that my car is a lease. And I was set to turn it in the next day.
Well, when I met with the guy working there, he told me he has already talked to the owner and they would fix this. I called up a couple of window shops in Tacoma and told them the situation. They called the owner and he paid for it over the phone. I didn’t have to deal with getting reimbursed or anything. I was also upset that my brand new sweatshirt (that they don’t make anymore) was gone, and it was an $ 80 Nike Dri-​Fit sweatshirt. Well they mailed me a check for that too. When I talked to them, they told me that this doesn’t happen very often and I am inclined to believe them. If it did, they wouldn’t be paying for peoples windows to be replaced because they would be losing money.
Overall they made the best out of a potentially very bad situation, and for that I am very thankful.

Didn’t initially stay there but there was a big mix up with priceline and they were great with getting back and me and pleasant to deal with i travel up there a lot so i will stay there.

We live in Federal Way so this location if about 6 miles from our house and 3 from the airport. We made online reservations and self-​parked our car on Tuesday morning and there were only 2 full spaces left and 4 compact. We arrived a little after 9AM and took the 9:30AM shuttle to the airport. Coffee was available in the motel lobby while we waited. The van travels every half hour or when someone calls in to be picked up. The driver was courteous and helpful and dropped us inside the parking garage where all the courtesy shuttle vans drop off. It is on the arrivals level. We believe there is only one driver and one van. The parking area is fenced and the entrance is in the back of the motel but there is no security on the gate and minimal lighting so don’t expect Fort Knox security. We paid by credit card in advance. The rate was $ 4.99 plus $ 6 airport access fee Plus 9.5% WA sales tax so the real cost is for 5 days is $ 6.64 but every other service has to pay the airport tax and the WA tax as well. We were lucky on the return. We arrived at the shuttle drop off and called on the courtesy phone, located in that area. It took at least 6 rings to answer and they told us the driver left a while back. She said to look for a van with 64 on the windshield and as I turned around there it was. It does not get better than that. If we had just missed it, as the other couple we picked up had previously, the wait might have been more than 30 minutes. If I was traveling every week, perhaps I would pay more for faster service but for a week or more trip every few months, this is fine. The price is great. If you want faster service and more security, be willing to pay more.

I wouldnt even give them 1 star but u have too. I recently made reservation online get there n they wouldnt accept my crd my rm was paid for in full as well. I cld see if was a big hotel. They wouldnt even take a cash deposit since that’s what if was for. I caught a cab there n had to call and get another cab to take me to another motel

Usually I’m not one to complain, but I need to vent about this one! My girlfriend and I decided to take a quick 2-​day through Seattle and were just looking for a cheap place near the airport to stay for a couple of nights. Allow me describe the highlights of the night:
–Arrival in Seattle
–Literal 80+ minute wait for shuttle (took him 5 minutes to drive back to hotel)
–Check in, room was extremely humid and smelled like socks
–Room changed to a room with flashing lights, shower with hair and dirt left in it, and an obvious ant problem
–We lay down in bed to watch some TV and twenty minutes into that venture, the power in the room cuts out and we’re laying in darkness
It was honestly almost too perfectly awful. People want to say that «we get what we pay for with this hotel», but in my opinion, you don’t. Now I did get a decent night’s sleep, and the front desk kid was awesome, but whenever I think about my trip to Seattle I’m going to think of the awful hotel experience before I think about the awesome adventures downtown.

I wish you could give negative stars. I get that you get what you pay for… but NO motel should have bugs in the bed! My fiancé and I were bitten several times and we actually found a dead bug on the bed the morning we left! The worst hotel experience. I hope this place gets cleaned up. I’ve written corporate about this to have the place gutted!

This place is a joke! Read what the person ahead of me wrote. (Per A). It was EXACTLY the same experience for my family and I. AWFUL service. When we arrived home from the our trip, waiting at the airport, we couldn’t even get through the phone lines because they were «busy». When we finally got someone to answer the phone, they said they would be 20 min away and we told them specifically where we were (3A). Well, after about 40 minutes, they did come by and drove right past us to the end of the shuttles. When calling the office this time to tell them, NO ONE answered the phone at all. (the shuttle driver and receptionist are the same person). They finally showed up after an hour and said the same thing to us as they did the previous customers. they had to drive around to find us. When we arrived back at the parking area, the shuttle driver who was also the receptionist stood outside with some friends in the parking lot (looked like they were doing a drug deal) and never even went inside. (Hopefully no one else needed help)…
Total headache. I would’ve paid $ 5 more per day at other lots I’ve used with great service. Should’ve stuck to what I knew instead of saving a few bucks…

The pickup from airport was a long wait. Had to wait for more than 20mins for shuttle to arrive. Once at the parking lot had to wait another 7−9mins for the same shuttle driver to get my car. Total time spent to get out of parking lot after arriving at airport pickup island was more than 35mins. That’s a waste of time specially if you are landing in morning hours & have to drive straight to office. Would not try this parking again

I was fine with this hotel. But at the time of check in she asked for my card to «verify» it was me. I asked them are you charging me anything or double charging me? I was told no. Next day comes, my bank is charged 100.00… my husband called to ask why this was done and they say it’s a charge that will go back as a refund after check out. He tells her that I was id’d and I was clearly 32 and we were not told of any thing as such would be charged. The refunded the money but since it’s a debit card she swiped at check in I won’t get it back until monday…
This happened while going to emerald city comic con. Not the time you want a 100 bucks to disappear.
Will not be back ever.

The trip to SeaTac from their lot was uneventful. The driver was courteous and competent. The trip from SeaTac was a «one star.»
I called their number to inform them we were waiting for a pick-​up. I was told the van just left but will be back in 15 min. OK. One strike– they only use 1 van during the busiest part of the day. So we waited. At around 25 min., I called the attendant again. She said the driver had been there and didn’t see us. I was told he would be there in 15 or less. I said, «I’m taking a taxi, and you’re paying my fare. About that time, their 1 van drove slowly by and I just happened to see a small 8 X 11» piece of paper taped to the INSIDE of the van’s tinted windows. There’s no way that could be read through window tinting especially at night. When I expressed frustration at the lack of readable markings on the van, of course the driver said I could complain to the manager. Right.
Moral of the story– price doesn’t necessarily mean value. I will never use this lot again.

You get what you pay for. Don’t check in to this place expecting to get 5 star amenities. Take a deep breath and chill, have a beer or take your midol.
This place is for those saving money or staying in area for 1 – 2 days. I paid 45 for a 1 night stay through expedia. Catching an early flight. 1 queen size bed.
The #64 shuttle was already enroute when I called.
The driver put my luggage in the van. 5min ride to the hotel. Free! Easy day!
Check in process was a breeze. Showed him my ID and got my room.
Pros: The room was better than expected. Very clean. Was expecting it to be a little ghetto for being under $ 50. Free WIFI. Shuttle service every 30 mins.
Cons: No elevator for 2^nd floor patrons. No fridge in the rooms. No elevator.
Well worth it for a nice day or two. Sleep well.

I booked one of the cheaper rooms that I could find for the night, since my flight had a long layover in Seattle. I only needed a place to shower and sleep in between flights. Yes, I saw the reviews before I made my booking, but it didn’t really scare me. I don’t know what these people are expecting for under $ 50 a night, including free parking, free 24h airport shuttle, with hot coffee and muffins in the morning.
The bed was comfortable enough, the shower hot, bathroom looked pretty clean, and the guy at the front desk was very friendly. I did not see any bugs or mold in my room. Sure this hotel is dated, and definitely not a 4 star hotel. If you are expecting that, look again, and get ready to pay $ 200+ per night. Otherwise, stf.

We had to wait over two hours for a shuttle. We had a friend already at the hotel who watched as the shuttle sat in the parking lot while we called numerous times to ask when it was coming. The front desk lied every time saying it was just at the airport and it would be another 20 minutes. That is just one of the problems we had with this terrible hotel. It was dirty and all of the staff was rude. In the middle of the night our phone would ring just once, jolting us awake, and the front desk never had any clue as to why it was happening.
I am all for saving money because I don’t stay in the hotel all that often while on vacation, but this place is not worth all of the savings. I would rather stay somewhere I felt safe and clean.

Where to start
When we pulled into the drive way, there were 2 tweaker just hanging out outside. Check in was good. Walking to our room on the second field and there was trash every where. We get into our room and it was very muggy inside. I went to take a shower and almost cut my foot on the drain cover, and the towels were stained.
After going out the evening I was woken up multiple time by a foreigner knock on my door.
After going out the next night, there was no parking. I asked the office where I should park and they told me to park in the handicap spot, so I did. I then walked to my room and tried to open my door but couldn’t, because they deactivated my room key. (idk why)
The next morning I woke up to take a shower and there wasn’t any hot water. I called the office and told them, the lady acted like she didn’t care.
All she said was that she would have someone look into it. After 45 min still no hot water. I went to check out and told the office lady that I never had hot water, she just looked at me and didn’t say a word, so I left
Oh ya the tv is from the early 90’s and half the channels didn’t come through
