Almost the same as Coney Island old rides that are out of date. The only thing new is the water park I like the Arcade Palaces their it’s more organized the ones at Coney island. Oh yeah it’s hard to get there by public transportation. Step 1, Take the N. J transit train from Herald Square to Newark Bus terminal, Step 2, Wait for the #67X Jersey transit bus to Seaside Heights at bus terminal. best to get to the bus terminal before 5 P.M. weekdays in order to catch the 67X bus which is the only bus that goes their. For any one in the New York Area interested in going and don’t have a car. Good Luck. Oh yeah one last thing the People their are very friendly to new comers, and value the environment their very much so please place your litter where it belongs because they resent people who don’t respect the landscape their.

The name says it all, doesn’t it? Funtown!!! Granted, it’s not a huge amusement park and it doesn’t have the most extreme rides. Some of the rides may be a bit old school, but doesn’t that add to that carni charm? I think so. What I love about this pier is how well it works with all the other attractions Seaside Heights has to offer. Yes, by itself(or any other attraction by itself) can be slightly lame or cheesy, but all together I think it’s pretty awesome. Also see my reviews on «Seaside Heights Beach and Boardwalk» and«Casino Pier» for an idea of what else is out there.

Loved it. Better than casino pier for little kids 6 and under.
