Beyond Boundaries O&A specializes in everything outdoors. From camping to hiking to backpacking to running to just straight up fun, BBOA has the gear for both the everyday beginner… and the seasoned veteran.

Our store is based around the following aspects of service:

1. The highest quality of goods and outdoor gear.

2. Guided trips, as well as recreational rentals of canoes & kayaks.

Along with the services above, BBOA hopes to gain a high degree of customer satisfaction with loyalty, opportunity, and adventure. Building upon momentum from an already established market niche, BB is not just a store… it is an experience. Located just off the square in downtown Searcy, BB provides a central location for both local residents and college students.

Success begins with ‘image’, and BB’s image is hoisted by the owners, the employees and the store-​front property.

As cliché as it may be, BBOA came to fruition over a cup of MO coffee (or better yet, many cups). The two owners (Blake & Chance) moved to Searcy originally with different purposes (Chance in engineering field; Blake pursuing MBA). However, once ‘living life’, a strong friendship & close partnership formed, and the opportunity at hand could not be denied. We love the outdoors, and whatever gets a person out in it.

On top of that, we believe small business is the backbone of America. We put our beliefs to test by finding a 1930s built, old ESSO abandoned gas station & transformed the building into a one-​of-​a-​kind shopping experience right off downtown Searcy.

After months (!) of work, we have a, not complete, but presentable product. We inch closer each day.

Meet the Business Owner

Blake N.

Business Owner

Blake, an experienced runner, has covered miles & miles in the great outdoors with wind blowing through his beard. He is also familiar with hunting and camping, trekking the hills of Colorado and pacing the Ozarks.

His knowledge of Mother Nature in combination with the lessons learned from his MBA at Harding University allows him to work effectively from both behind the desk and behind a canoe. Obtaining a sports management degree from the University of Arkansas gave Blake the opportunity to learn from some of the best outdoor ambassadors the state has to offer.
