Tucked away in the backwoods of Alabama is the tiny town of Seale, which hosts the Possom Trot auction every Friday night! An array of total junk from China mixed with odd treasures are theatrically auctioned off to an appropriately frenzied audience. Located in a tiny seemingly-​former church, with pews, it’s an amazing show, well-​worth a journey just to watch the auctioneers. It’s packed with locals and next door is a gallery of oddities and art by famed folk-​artist, Butch Anthony, who’s art sells in London, NYC and Seale, Al. Enter the true Belly of the South and enjoy the Possom Trot auction! More crap than treasures, but you never know…
