I am so glad I read the bad reviews here and looked at what they were saying and the types of reviews the people have given in the past and IGNORED them. I’m sorry but what do you expect a doctor to do if you have a common cold? They give a general diagnosis, maybe prescribe antibiotics and give you cough syrup. Another person was upset that he put down information in her chart from a question he asked. Is there a problem with this?
I can’t believe there are still doctor’s around like Dr. Sotelo. He is excellent and it’s hard to find a doctor around with so much experience.
He spent far more time with me than I would have expected from a doctor. He asked me to follow up with him in a few days directly. He made it quite clear he wanted to speak to me directly on the phone to make sure my issues were resolved.
When I looked up my condition later online, I read that the condition I may have is often overlooked by doctors.
Also a bonus, the staff was friendly and professional.

Best dr around!!! If you are from seal then you ALLREADY know! He saved my life when I was a baby and throughout it!!! He’s not a week doctor so he doesn’t break any rules. If you’re looking for one of those Go to TJ.

I am been using and referring people to Dr. Sotelo for a few years. He is professional and caring — a great doctor. I highly recommend him.

I visited Dr. Sotelo for inflammation on my ankle which was very irritating. He treated me for an infected spider bite. His staff was very courteous and professional. Dr. Sotelo was also professional and made me feel comfortable. The infection went away quickly after his treatment.

This place is a complete RIP-​OFF AND SCAM!!!
They will not consult you with billing issues and completely ignore your existence.
In my experience, I had called 3 different occasions to get some consultation on a billing question and never heard back for a month. I proceeded to call back and the receptionist said, «Oh yeah, there was nothing we can do.»
… um, thanks for the notice?!
That aside, I went in for a simple biometrics reading for my insurance policy and ended up having to pay $ 70 for asking Dr. Sotello a simple question that he did NOTHING to help resolve. I was never notified that my question was being charted, thus losing my insurance coverage on the visit. I find it to be unethical to practice in this manner especially considering, he did nothing to help me to begin with.
This place is BS! There are far more qualified and helpful doctors in the surrounding area. I will never go back.

This guy has a very lazy approach to everything he does.
He didn’t want to take x-​rays, but wanted only to prescribe muscle relaxers for lower back stiffness, and muscle spasms. I asked what the success rate is in using said drugs, since he bragged he’s been treating back problems for 50 years, and he said he didn’t know.
Appeared sleepy, during my two o’ clock appointment, and I had to repeat myself three times, telling him that my back never stiffens during a workout, only after, the next morning. He also didn’t take not one single note during my appointment (in fact, never picked up his pen the entire time), didn’t document anything in my chart; in fact, never opened said chart.
Stay away.

I came to Dr. Sotelo because he was much closer than my usual general practitioner, and I will never return! He saw me for all of 5 minutes, only to give me a vague prognosis, a basic antibiotic, and an OTC cough syrup. I left feeling like my $ 20 copay wasn’t even earned! Don’t waste your time or money by visiting him!

Been going here since 1970– Tony is a unique doctor. Wears clogs. If in doubt– he refers you to someone else.
