Seal West Chevron

BEWARE: Credit card info stolen from this gas station. Paid at the counter and received a call from my bank a day later saying my card info was used somewhere in Africa, this was the last place I used my card.

Great priced gas station near the freeway. I’m often in the Seal Beach area and on my way in I like to get gas. This little stop is cool because it has a car wash and little mart to get all your necessities. Very convenient stop on my way in town.

Credit card skimmed! This is the 2^nd time at a Chevron. Be careful, check the card swipper. If it’s loose don’t use it!

I will never return. Horrible and unfriendly service. Don’t use their car wash — costs the same as a hand wash with minimal results. I’d sooner go ten miles out of my way.

Best place for expensive gas…
The only reason I come to this location for gas is when I don’t have enough to get home to get cheaper gas and even so, I only pump a couple bucks to get back. I understand that some locations are priced based on the standard of living in the area or the demand, but I can’t force myself to pump a full tank of gas here.
On a side note, the convenience store is well stocked and the bathrooms are clean. It does have a car wash but I’ve yet to use it to determine how well it cleans. It is well lit which is quite nice especially when I get gas late at night.
I would rate this place 3 stars mainly because of the price of the gas.

I refuse to pump gas at this gas station. The two times that I have pumped gas here and used my debit card I immediately received a notice from my credit card fraud prevention department notifying me that my credit card had been compromised. I’d also like to add that two of my very good friends that have also pumped gas at this station have experienced the EXACT same thing.
Its not worth the hassle. Why deal with fraudulent people.

I think reviewer Lynn B may be referring to the 76 station across the street where I also experienced an overpriced smog check estimate. This Chevron does not offer smog checks or garage service. The station was remodeled within the last few years. It’s clean and bright. Convenient. Easy to get in and out. Lots of pumps. Rarely a wait. Well-​stocked store.
But please improve the pump key pads. Several are already worn and buttons hard to press. The key pad process needs to be streamlined and quicker. Takes too long for some of the questions to come up. And please figure out another way for Von’s Rewards Customers to participate. Don’t make the rest of us answer that extra question every time. Standing at a gas pump answering questions is not my favorite place to be. :-)

We had to stop by here due to a detour, but I’m hoping we never have to again! It was late at night and all we wanted to do was get home. I pulled into the station and my bf went out to pump gas. I had overheard another woman saying her card was rejected. A few minutes later, my bf said the machine wasn’t taking his card either and to try another pump. We moved over to another pump and same thing occurred.
We finally just decided to go inside to pay. The only good thing is that the store is decently sized, so we picked up a few snacks and paid for our gas. I mentioned to the employee that there seemed to be an issue with credit cards at the pump to which he mumbled something along the lines of he knows/​that happens. Well great… I guess?

If it weren’t for its really expensive gas prices, this station would be a five star. However, location, cleanliness and convenience makes this station worth a quick pit stop. It has pretty much everything you might need like a convenient store, restrooms, air/​water station, and a car wash. Best of all, its open ²⁴⁄₇. What more can one ask for…

Gas was fine. Carwash? well, it kinda sorta barely rinses off the top layer of dirt. it also left some weird brownish liquid on parts of the car. ew. not even sure what that was. i had serious bug splatter from a road trip, so it was desperate times… if i lived there, so wouldn’t go again.

This is the shadiest businesses that I’ve ever had to deal with! advertised $ 29.95 for smog check in a bold colored sign then told me it was $ 45 ???went to buy cigarettes there 2 packs $ 8.30 decided to get two more. Price went to you $ 20.30. I’m not the best at math but something tells they’re not right either. Decided to take my business elsewhere I will never ever go there again

So at the trojan vs cardinal game everybody there got a $ 3 coupon good for products at a chevron extramile station and stumbled upon this place when doing errands.
Looks like folks are getting sticker shock at the price of soda so these gas convenience stores are stocking the $ 1 size bottles for 16fl oz
Suggest you look on the chevron website because not all chevron station are extramile ones

We stop by for gas on the way home Garden Grove, and this place just empty. Must be because price is $ 4.29 for regular gas.
