Why are the portions so small? If I ate this for a week and went to the toilet after the 7 days, nothing but air would come out of my butt. Seriously, smallest portions ever. Being Greek myself, we believe in QUANTITY, give a lot to the people you have in your home. This is pathetic. Small portions=bad experience.

I dont know if daphnes if a franchise or independently owned but the guys that work here are very polite and the food is great. They seem to know all the local people who come in by name and they deserve a good review. I got the gyro/chicken kabob plate and it was alot better than any regular old fast food around here.

A couple of weeks ago my family and I visited Daphne’s for the first time. We did not have the experience we had hoped, and planned on not visiting again. HOWEVER, Jesse(area manager) had enough pride in the company that he reached out to us immediately and invited us to give Daphne’s another try. So we came back today, and brought my mom as well. And what a different experience entirely. We were immediately greeted when we walked in(the first time we had to wait for the cashiers to finish their conversation). We ordered the Mediterranean Family Feast again, and this time instead of the chicken or steak kabobs we ordered only the grilled chicken. Just as the first time, the chicken was juicy and tender and everyone loved the flavor. In addition to the Feast, we also ordered the Fire Feta dip and pita. That was EXCELLENT. It has a very little kick so everyone in the family could enjoy it(even the kids). The Hummus is still very bland but we mixed it with the Fire Feta and it dressed it up quite nicely. Overall, I am thankful that Jesse asked us to try it again. Perhaps in the future I will give a restaurant at least 2 tries before we write them off. We are very pleased with Daphne’s, not only the food, but the integrity the company has to stand behind their brand. That means a lot!(Just please taste the hummus, it needs seasonings!) BTW, we forgot to get a membership card again, and no one mentioned it. We’ll get it next time, but the cashiers should get in the habit of asking everyone.(just a suggestion) Thanks Jesse, my family and I WILL be back!

The first time I had Daphnes was for a work lunch. I’ve been back a handful of times since! Their food is so fresh and delicious! If you call in your order for pick up it’s ready within 7 to 10 minutes! Talk about quick service. Very good customer service and super polite workers

Location — This one is in a strip mall in Seal Beach near a bunch of other small restaurants and CVS, Ralphs, etc. Pretty easy to spot as your drive by. Plenty of parking since it share a lot with all the other retail stores and restaurants but does get a little crowded during lunch/dinner rush because its near all those other things. We always find parking somewhere though. Service — We have never had a problem with service at this location. The guys who take orders are very nice and always accommodate my request for extra tzatziki sauce! Food comes up pretty fast, whether its to go and eat in. If you eat in, despite the fact that its a casual order at the register place, someone usually comes to check on you at least once while you eat which is nice. Food — I have to go with 3 stars because of the food. Not going to lie, I do come to this place more often than not if I’m craving gyros but is it the best gyros Ive ever had? No, not so much. It can be kind of dry and the chicken inevitably is a little burnt and overcooked. The rice pilaf is okay, but a little greasy. Hummus and tzatziki sauce are pretty good though. Overall — When the craving hits and this place is convenient… well, you get it.

I just had a really amazing meal at Daphne’s California Greek in Seal Beach, where customer service is above and beyond anything you’d expect. I came in on-foot from my hotel and was greeted with a line full of indecisive people. However, the staff acknowledged me and got through the line quickly. I liked the fast-casual format and very good prices(lots of food for relatively little money). Space is new, fresh and clean. I had a mix and match plate for dinner, at less than $ 10, it is a steal. You get a small salad(a little over-dressed, but yummy), rice, pita, tzatiki sauce and two choices of meat(six plus types to choose from). I had the chicken kabob and it was bomb, super flavorful and had some onions and peppers added on. I also added on some very well cooked fries to round out the meal. Staff were outstanding, from making sure I got my order in correctly to shooing out a transient who was hitting up customers in seconds. I was addressed as ‘sir’, which was weird, but nicely formal. Come on by Daphne’s California Greek for lunch or dinner anytime you want a fast, tasty and well-priced meal.

I ordered chicken Kabob with rice and salad, lemon chicken soup, side of hummus and pita bread. Everything was delicious. Inexpensive, great service, friendly, clean, and quick. Will definitely be coming back.

Their California Chicken Salad is really good! Fresh and flavorful and the dressing is nice and tangy and has feta in it(love feta!) I do however always ask for extra dressing as the salad is quite large! The pita that comes with it is really yummy too! The Lemon Chicken Soup is really weird… It’s like a claim chowder consistency with bits of chicken and a sour taste… I don’t recommend it… The combo platter was not amazing… I had chicken and Gyro and both had good flavor but were cold… The rice was good and the side salad was ok! I highly recommend the salads and probably the Gyros! I’ve also heard the sun dried tomato wrap is really good!

My regular lunch spot. I have to say I’m always pleased with the service and food. My go to is the Greek Salad w/chicken and it always hits the spot. I feel like the portion is generous for lunch and the price feels right. The place is always clean and the service is on point. Tend to see the same people everyday working and they are always friendly and helpful.

HOT, fresh, and good looking food. This is what you get. ITs mid priced. they have the mix and match for $ 8.99 where you can have a little of a few things. I had rice, grilled chicken, salad, skewer shrimp and chicken. A great in between from home cooking and restaurant cooking.

This place is a ripoff! I ordered a salad and paid extra for extra chicken. I received a garden salad with barley any chicken in it. My nephew got some chicken & rice or something and he was not happy with it either. The food is very bland and the portions are ridiculously small. BUT the price is very high $ 24.35 for the two meals. Trust me it was not 25 meal. I could of had a better salad at Jack in The Box for less than half the price. Oh and I almost forgot both my nephew and my stomach are churning and feel sick now. Thanks Daphne’s but I won’t ever come back. Much better options in the surrounding areas.

Tonight was my first time visiting this restaurant for dinner, I was with my family and friend. as with most fast food restaurent some they offer you to test their food. as the case of Shawarma restaurent they offer sample … this place do not offer sample and if you ask for it … this the answer you expect from the cashier: «it cost me a lots of money for the meat and I do not give samples ». do not be shocked. as I was. but I still ordered my meal and the truth. it was not tasty and the rude customer service made the customer experience a terrible one. I will never come back here and I will not recommend this place. Good luck with the expensive meat ! And do remember that a bad teast… could not be compromised

I used to really hate Daphne’s back in the day but I have to say they’ve really improved over the years. This location is in the same plaza where I do most of my grocery shopping so we eat here often. So far every time we’ve visited the service has been friendly and the food tasty. My wife and I’s favorite item on the menu is their«Cali-Greek Bowl». It’s seasoned rice(or ancient grains), black beans, cucumber-tomato salad, avocado dip, creamy chile sauce, and diced up jalapeño bacon. You then top it with a protein such as chicken, gyro, falafel, grilled shrimp, or crispy shrimp. I love the crispy shrimp here so that’s my go to item. My wife gets the gyros. All these flavors combined make for a great meal start to finish and are pleasing to the taste buds. Top it off with some of their spicy cilantro sauce they keep near the drink station for an extra kick. If you’re counting calories like I am you’ll appreciate the calorie counts are displayed right on the menu and not hidden away.

OH. THEYSELLGREEKFOODHERE? I was too distracted by the holy grail of CHOCOLATECHIPCOOKIES. I may or may not have had lunch here… I cant remember due to the overwhelming out of body experience I had eating this chocolate chip cookie they sell. My pregnant sister had the audacity to ask if we could«share» so I bought her one too then she let me eat most of the chocolatey parts in her cookie bc she could see the twinkle in my eye when I ate mine too fast. Try the fresh baked cookies… I want to go back just for that
