I felt unwelcome here. When the lady behind the desk answered sternly, we don’t have a map of all the states. None of the other states will have them either. So there – that’s telling me! Nice looking building, though, filled with brochures and maps of various sights. But not a map I was looking for. We quickly passed through to Maine.

New Hampshire only gets five or so miles of I-95, but they do a fine job with this rest area /welcome center on the Northbound side of the highway. Good signage and plenty of warning that it’s coming with a good ramps to decelerate and accelerate. Clean-ish rest rooms and a large welcome center with lots of information about New Hampshire resources and attractions, all neatly organized by geographic area. As welcome centers go, this is a good one! Welcome to the Granite State. Live Free or Die. And FYI… my first New Hampshire review which is my 38th state reviewed!
