I went to Primo Hoagies for a quick lunch. I ordered a Sharp Italian hoagie(Prosciutto, Sharp Provolone, Thumann’s Capacola & Genoa Salami) with a lot of veggies added. The bread held everything together very well. There was plenty of meat on my hoagie. The veggies, spices, and dressings make Primo Hoagies very flavorful in my opinion. Primo Italian hoagie is one of my favorite sandwiches in the Scranton area. A large hoagie is very filling. The restaurant is small. It’s best to call ahead if you’re in a rush. Parking is hit or miss(street). Primo Hoagies is a good choice for Italian hoagies in Scranton. I give Primo Hoagies a 4.5 rating.

I stopped in on a Saturday at about 4pm for an early dinner. I forgot the name of the hoagie that I ordered, but it was chicken cutlet with pesto, tomato and onions. It was delicious and priced just right. The kid taking our order had his headphones in and wasn’t as friendly as he probably should have been, but the guy who brought the food to our table was extremely friendly and wished us a great weekend upon leaving. I even signed up for their rewards program. I’ll go again when I’m in the area!

Solid hoagie. Quick and good friendly service. Was glad I popped in here for lunch. Had the classic Italian sub and would recommend it.

I got a side pasta salad with my order. When we got home and opened it I tried some and instantly tasted that something was off. I smelled the container and could tell it was spoiled! I looked at the date and it was over 20 days expired!!! I was then sick for a good 24 hours. Really sick too. It’s unfortunate bc I liked their subs. I just can’t trust that everything else isn’t spoiled :(

New York Italian style deli with the best fresh sandwiches. I usually get one to eat and one to go! Try the Napolitano Primo hoagie.
