Main Ave Ice Cream

favorite place to get soft serve ice cream. it’s cash only but it’s cheap enough that i don’t mind. not a lot of place to enjoy outside tho. maybe 3 or 4 parking spots (if you wanna risk getting it all over your car) and only two picnic tables

This walk-​up ice cream shop can get very busy, which just makes the fact that there is extremely limited outdoor seating (two picnic tables) and a small, awkward parking lot that much more obvious. It’s also cash only.
So, what otherwise might be an unremarkable neighborhood ice cream counter actually has one big distinction: they have four flavors of soft-​serve going at any given time. I’ve had pumpkin, banana and raspberry soft serve, sometimes swirled with chocolate or vanilla.
This might be the only place I can think of that does flavors of soft serve other than chocolate or vanilla. They have two machines, so why not? Sure, there are places that do the «flavor burst» with that colorful gel, but this is the real deal.
