History

Established in 1977.

Freckles & Frills was established in 1977 as a nursery school for children from 3 to 5 years of age with a maximum capacity for 20 children.

To date, the Center has grown into a full service early learning and child care center. Freckles & Frills is licensed by the Department of Education, the Department of Public Welfare and is a Keystone Star 4 designated site. The Center provides high quality child care and education to families with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Over the past 35 years, Freckles and Frills has continued to grow and has established a strong reputation as one of the première early childhood education centers in the greater city of Scranton.
